Good reliable test.
A good simple to use test of iron status. I was impressed with the clear instructions and information in the pack.

A refund should be given.
I bought this blood test kit to give me an idea what my ferritin level was and it came back as 47. I have an iron infusion when it’s below 50 and so I could now go and get my hospital blood test and have an infusion. I have just received my hospital blood test results and my ferritin is 67 which renders the London test useless and a waste of £25. I didn’t find them reliable and will defiantly not use again!

A useful and easy to use test kit
I recently tried the One Step Ferritin Blood Test Kit, and I’m incredibly impressed with how simple and efficient the process was. As someone who has been concerned about my iron levels, this test kit made it so much easier to monitor my health from the comfort of my own home. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the whole process stress-free. The kit includes everything you need for the blood collection, and I appreciated that it came with everything well-organized. The lancet provided was painless, and the blood collection process was quick and easy, thanks to the thoughtfully designed tools. After collecting my sample, I sent it off to the lab for testing. The results arrived in just 2-3 days, and they were incredibly detailed, covering both my ferritin and iron levels. It was reassuring to have a professional lab handle the analysis, and I felt confident in the accuracy of the results. This test kit is perfect for anyone who wants to keep track of their iron levels and detect early signs of anaemia or iron deficiency. It saves you a trip to the doctor’s office and provides fast, reliable results. I also appreciate the peace of mind knowing I can easily retake the test if I need to monitor my levels in the future. Overall, I highly recommend the One Step Ferritin Blood Test Kit. It’s easy to use, provides quick results, and gives you valuable insights into your health. This is a must-have for anyone concerned about their iron levels and looking for a convenient at-home testing option.

Easy to use, quick results.
This kit is very easy to use (as long as you can get all the blood you need!). It took me a while and a few fingers to fill up the sample but once I did, it was easy to register and post using the prepaid envelope. The results came back in a few days and thankfully were all normal. Overall, an easy and efficient process!

No results, despite confirming receipt
Sent back, chased for days, they took all my details and advised the result was ready and never sent. I kept calling the mobile number but nobody was available to answer. The impression I got is it's somebody running their business from home.

Useful test kit - if you're ok with lab testing
Review for: ‘One Step: Ferritin Blood Test Kit - Home Iron Deficiency & Anaemia Test | Easy At-Home Blood Collection with Lab Results in 2-3 Days | Ferritin & Iron Levels Test Kit’ Updated 05/02/2025 - Due to circumstances that I won’t go into here, I had to delay making a blood donation – but, I now have the NHS HemoCue test result for my haemoglobin level. I just collected the blood sample for the ‘One Step’ ferritin test and went online to activate my sample ID. However, I find I cannot agree to provide the personal information required – even with the optional information excluded, nor can I agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. I always view any data gathering with suspicion – particularly when it relates to medical/biological/genetic material, so I prefer to wait for a test where I can both take and process a blood sample at home. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I opened the 'One Step' test kit when I received it to check the contents – it’s much the same as other kits I’ve used that required taking a blood sample and sending it off to a lab. I haven’t used this one yet, because I have a cunning plan! I will be donating blood on 20/12, so I thought - why not take the kit along and ask the staff to take the blood sample for it as well when they’re doing the usual finger prick test to check my haemoglobin level? If they don’t, I’ll do it myself. I’d like to compare readings taken at the same time. I know the 'One Step' lab testing should be more accurate than the handheld NHS HemoCue machine which only gives a haemoglobin level. But I’ll be interested in the results. I’ll update when I have the lab results.

Fast and thorough analysis. Simple kit with good instructions
Having suspected low iron levels for a while, my other half carried out a test using this simple, at-home kit. Following the instructions was easy and the test was quick to go through. The lab service is excellent, so quick (couple of days after sending to get results back), the results were detailed and, as it turned out, very accurate; she went to the GP after seeing the low levels and these were confirmed. She's now on iron supplements and feeling a lot better courtesy of discovering and then confirming what we thought and were able to test at home. It's a good option and although a bit steep, the convenience and simplicity are worth it.

Easy to use.
I’m prone to low ferritin so glad to have an opportunity to check it without bothering the dr. Easy to us, though I’m a bit rubbish at getting enough blood. Results clear and within a few days.
