These collect very fine particles like pollen. Very happy to have these collect all that and not have it go into my pool filter. Will keep these on for the life of the pool now. They’re cheap enough to trash. I’m not having this mess end up in my washer and pipes.

Thea do a good job, can rinsed out once as they do tend to stretch out a bit but don't tear! So good product for the price.

love it... Does as expected. Have heavy pollen along with leaves. Catches everything, have to clean filter out regular but the out come is clean pool

These are a help in our in-ground pool! These socks EASILY fit over our skimmer baskets and help to take some of the pressure off the filter by capturing some of the finer particles and pollen before they make it to the filter. Is it 100% necessary? No, but for the price why not? You should see some of the stuff it captures and it does make a difference for us in the clarity of the water.BTW, these sock are MUCH MUCH cheaper, price-wise, than at our two local pool stores ... EASILY beating them out in price ... I got 30 Socks for $9 on AMAZON vs. 5 for $5 at our local places ... NO CONTEST!I will caution that if you are one of us old-school pool maintainers do not put a chlorine tab in the basket with this "sock". Whether the tab is in the sock or under it ... the tab is TOO strong and WILL eat a hole straight through this material ... other than that I don't see any issues arising from this. Good Product.

This item does a good job cleaning the debris, however it restricts the water flow too much. The pump works overtime trying to get water. So it became useless to me.
