I have owned robot vacuums before I was never a big fan because I didn’t think they did enough or did a thorough job until I came across this bad boy. I do have tile throughout my home and mopping the floor was always put last on to do list and 90% of the time it was forgotten about. After reading number of reviews, the pros and cons I decided to invest into this vacuum mop just to see if it’s really working and if it’s worth the money. Here are my findings and opinion…Go get it now! I have programmed it to vacuum / mop twice a day just because my floors haven’t been touched in months. When this thing came on, I was surprised how the mops scrub the floor. I needed to physically scrub on the caked on things that have been settled over time. Yes, I have boys and dogs and my floors were that gross.The assembly was extremely easy so I did not read the instructions and later on thought to myself oh no, I have to probably wash out those nasty mops because the floors are looking nicer. To my surprise, this machine actually washes out its own mops. All you need to do is change out the water and as you can tell in the pictures, my water was pretty disgusting. One thing I was concerned about is the feedback others are giving about how expensive it is for the replacement parts for maintenance. For example, the mops and the filters, I have looked it up and a package costs about $40. This is the best investment that has saved me so much time and is leaving my floors shiny and clean. I don’t mind spending $40 every other month or whenever it’s required to get the replacement mops or filters or bags.Also, the app is very easy to use and it sends you notifications when water needs to be changed and things like that so you never have to worry about anything.I would highly recommend this vacuum mop it is worth every penny just calculating the time it has saved me having to clean my floors.

Initially, I believed the underbelly of the vacuum was clean, but upon closer inspection, I discovered it was completely clogged with a cat toy. This human error was the root cause of the poor edge-cleaning performance I had experienced. So, a word to the wise: if your J15 isn’t performing as promised, dig deeper into potential issues before writing it off.To put the J15’s capabilities into perspective, I had previously purchased a comparable Shark robot vacuum, which I only used in vacuum mode. After resolving the clog in the J15, I realized that the Eureka far surpasses the Shark, especially in its AI-driven features. The J15’s cleaning performance is now exceptional, and I’ve made it a habit to regularly check the underbelly (debris compartment) to ensure it remains obstruction-free.What truly sets the J15 apart is its impressive array of features. The software and app are highly customizable, allowing me to tailor the cleaning experience to my home’s unique needs. I now confidently give it five stars, as it delivers exceptional value and innovation for the price.---### Original Review: Eureka J15 – Initial Disappointment (2 Stars)Is anyone else noticing the subpar performance of the Eureka J15? I wanted to love this vacuum—I really did—but my initial experience left much to be desired. Transitioning from a flat living room carpet to hardwood floors, the vacuum seemed to scatter debris everywhere. Every time it encountered a rug or a slight bump, it struggled to lift properly, leaving messes behind instead of cleaning them up.Then, a new issue arose, which gave me further pause. After a planter tipped over, we cleaned up most of the dry dirt and let the robot vacuum the area twice. At first glance, it appeared to do an adequate job. However, when I followed up with my plug-in vacuum, I could hear dirt still being sucked out of the carpet, indicating the J15 had missed a significant amount.Given these experiences, I began to question whether the J15 was worth its price tag. Disappointed and unimpressed, I seriously considered returning it. My plan was to try a different brand to see if another model might handle transitions between rooms and floor types more effectively, without spreading debris in the process. Sorry, Eureka—I had high hopes, but this vacuum initially fell short.

DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT! I purchased this unit for our home. In a nutshell, we loved it until it broke. Lidar navigation went out 3 months in, so it is lost and will not operate at all. I read up after the fact and apparently this is common on these.... Purchased on sale, great price BUT when the unit fails and you reach out to Eureka (Found out now Chinese owned BTW) All you get is a refund. OK, thanks but that is not what I want. I want the IN WRITING warranty to "repair or replace" but after 26 emails back and forth, I FINALLY get a phone call and they just said that the warranty does not apply to this model and refund is the only option. (in other words, for them to get thru this garbage batch of units it's cheaper to have you toss it in a landfill and refund you) Kicker is, I purchased it on sale, so not only do they make you go buy another boat anchor (between my brother and I we have had 3 of these fail in less than 6 months) but they will not make you whole on the sale price you paid. PLUS, DURING OR AFTER WARRANTY THEY WILL NOT SELL INTERNAL PARTS. After we received refunds, we ripped the unit apart (not that hard) and tested them with the only working unit and the parts needed can NOT be purchased. So how does Eureka sell an item in the US without a warranty OR parts sales? This company need a class action lawsuit is what they need. DON'T SAY I DID NOT WARN YOU. This company has a long way to do with robot vacuums...this thing is NOT reliable. When it works it's GREAT. BUT... IT WILL NOT LAST. TRUST ME! We have 2 going into landfills, and the 3rd is stating to go. (Bad/broke internal mop head assy)
