Bought this to use as needle felted creature basic forms,with the intention of using coloured wool for the more detailed features. This product was well packaged in two clear plastic bags ,didn't have any odor other than a slight wool scent which is to be expected. Be careful opening because the bag can be resealable if you don't cut through both( its a zip lock type). Will purchase again when needed. It has also worked well as a wool base for felting jewelry items and took to being tinted well. Can not attest to how well the colour will set as this wasn't important for my specific use.

Love this! Absolutely love having an all natural substitute for stuffing. Doesn’t necessarily feel like wool, stuffs about the same as synthetic but is a little more hardy so I don’t feel like don’t I use up as much as I would synthetic.

This wool really felts well. I like to make bigger needle felting projects and this is perfect for using in the middle so I can save my tops and finer wools for the outside details. I got the two pound bag and I won’t run out for the foreseeable future because they come with so much. The wool has a slight smell, but it doesn't bother me, it just smells natural. I highly suggest this product!

This is the first time I have tried this product - I normally use wool roving, but the price was great and I decided to try it. I love it! It performs differently than roving, but it forms easily and evenly, and it is probably going to become my go to wool for making the bodies for my sculptures. There was no smell, no "unidentifiable stuff" or debris in the wool, and it is clean and pleasant to handle. It is also a nice, clean soft-white in color, and it dyed evenly when I ran out of my store-bought batch of pink and needed to improvise with food coloring. Actually, the food coloring worked great, and I got a soft, pleasant pink that I was very happy with. I usually use Ritz, but the results were so good that I will probably try experimenting with other colors. A good product!

As this product is used for stuffing knitted natural fiber toys it fits the bill nicely. It comes already compressed in the packaging so once opened, it springs to life to provide a good warm wool for children’s hands.

This core wool is wonderful. No smell, though sheep smell does not bother me at all. Felts up quick and easy. The build up is beautiful. I have also used it as a wet felting base with my wool rovings and it held up well. There is plenty in a bag. I did go for the 4.5pd one and yes it was over 4.5 pounds of wool vacuumed sealed in 4 bags. Makes for easy storage. Worth the price! Will be ordering more from here.

Nice clean wool! No odours! Came vacuum packed. Fluffed up nicely when the package was opened. Fluffing up takes a bit of time so don't rush to use the material.
