I CAN SEE TV.!!
These are Amazing.!! I wear them in bed to see the TV across the room, on the wall. I can't Read anything that's written (on whatever I'm watching), so I just put these on, and can see GREAT. You Do have to sit UP--you can't lay down Flat, and use them to see TV on the wall, but That's ok. I Love them!

Might need to tighten screws
I'm waiting for cataract surgery and use these to watch TV until then. They work well although I can't see the entire screen. I have also used them to check out stuff on my roof (I lead a very exciting life).Anyway, I only gave 4 stars because one of the little screws came loose on one of the hinges and then fell out and got lost. Found a guy who replaced the screw and added a bolt and tightened it up. But ever since then, I have to tighten that side every few days or else it comes loose and the glasses get wobbly. I also tighten the screws on the other hinge too. So, not a huge problem, just a heads up to maybe do some preventive screw tightening now and then!

Poor clarity
I bought these so I could be hands-free at a rock concert. Their clarity and focus did not work well for me. Took them off after a short time--I could see the band better without them. Too much distortion in the lenses--but then what do you expect for $40?

Read the directions on adjusting the lenses until they merge into one image..
My husband and I recently cancelled our cable service. My husband and I recently canceled our cable service. We bought a compatible TV to the new service. The same size as our old TV. I don’t know why but I could no longer read smaller written prompts etc and had to get up and go to the set to read smaller print. Got real tired of the Mr.Magoo routine.Husband said no problem, We needed a bigger TV (he is a man). I bought these binoculars instead. I only need them occasionally but they work perfectly. Pop them on take them off. They are very comfortable, a little heavy to wear all the time but who wears binoculars all the time anyway?I am very satisfied. Good for birding too I think they would also be great for concerts. They are very compact.

Fit problems for narrow spaced eyes. TV viewing rather limited.
The lens sliding mechanism does not go quite far enough for my narrow-spaced eyes, so there is a little bit of double-vision at the image edges. I've had this problem with other cheap binoculars. Most of the image is clear, however. The field of view of these glasses is too small for viewing a 40 inch TV from 9 feet away -- unless you continually want to move your head (which might be preferable if your prescription lenses are inadequate). If your TV is smaller than 40 inch or further away than 9 feet, it might work. A 16 inch monitor with 16:9 aspect ratio or a 19 inch TV with 4:3 aspect ratio would be about perfect at 9 feet. That would need little or no head movement to see the whole screen. Those are pretty small screens, but some laptop screens or portable TVs might work. The tiny speakers in those devices would not likely work well at 9 feet, however.I do like that the glasses have independent focus adjustment for each eye (I am nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other). The focus adjustment works well for me. I would not want to wear these over my eyes while walking or doing anything that requires a lot of motion -- it would be nauseating and possibly unsafe. They could work well for bird-watching or watching sports. The materials appear to be good quality, but I doubt they would survive a fall onto hard ground.I think I'm going to invest in a good pair of regular binoculars that I can try out at a store. The cheap route is not working well for me.

Poor Ooptics keep it from being a good product
These binocular glasses are a great idea, but did not work well because of poor optics. The greatest issue is that there is a very pronounced spherical aberration in these lenses. This means that the center of the image will focus, but the edges are distorted. This is mentioned in other reviews as well, so it is doubtful that it was unique to the one I received. Additionally, the eye relief is not good. Eye relief describes how far back you can hold your eye and get a good image with a full viewing angle. The placement of the lenses on the glasses frame caused them to sit further away from your eyes than a pair of binoculars would regularly be held. This may have added to the poor eye relief. I rated the comfort low because if it is awkward to view an image through, it will cause eye strain and discomfort. The frame seemed well made and sturdy, and was surprisingly well balanced. It did not seem excessively weighty for having the binoculars on it. It also did not feel like it would be prone to fall off.The eye cups were decent, but since they are on the eyepiece lenses which are too far away, they also sit too far from your eyes to be really effective. The case is a nice zippered semi hard case that everything fits into nicely. The biggest issue with these is that the whole point is to make a better image, and these do not make a better image.

GREAT binocular glasses!
Many issues with my eyes prevent glasses from being an option. These binocular glasses are so great to see TV, etc. Very happy with my purchase!

My friend lent me this at a theater. Now I keep one in my every day bag.
I thought this would be only good for theater glasses. Then a lens in my binoculars fell out, and I found these worked even better than traditional binoculars because they follow where you look. Then I tried to read the tiny print on a charger, and didn't have a magnifying lens in the house; these focus in on close objects too. They weigh very little, so they don't feel like they might fall off; they leave your hands free while you're looking near or far; they come with a strong and lightweight zipper carrier that keeps them clean. I'm delighted that my friend lent me his at the theater!
