Not convenient
Am using single unit as well as this belt pack. Prefer single unit. This belt pack has unequal filling in its units and makes it difficult to heat in microwave - swelling due to heat is uneven and worried that the overfilled unit should not explode.

Very good quality.
I used this hot & cool pack when I had a sports injury in my shoulder, it provided me instant relief from swelling and pain. I always keep one in my freezer handy.
