This is very useful. It has zippers on both sides and can compress luggage.

I’d prefer to have more of the smaller cubes, the largest cube is bigger than most carryons.

Save yourself the headache and buy another brand. The price is good for compression cubes, but the compression zipper will snag and eat the underlying fabric over and over and over again. The problem is that the zipper has a very loose tolerance and the underlying nylon fabric of the bag will begin to be eaten by the zipper way before you notice anything is wrong...not until several inches of the fabric have been caught inside the zipper will you notice the zipper won't pull anymore. At which point you have a very very very difficult time fixing it I see two scenarios after a few uses of these compression cubes: you will.either break the zipper very soon or the fabric with be ripped by the zipper Will be returning this tomorrow.
