My camera uploads low resolution images. How do I get better quality photos and videos?

EDGE Series cameras upload a lower resolution image normally. This helps conserve battery and allows for faster uploads. To view the higher image, simply request HD image or video from the app. Your EDGE 2 will upload it within a few minutes.

Do I need a subscription to use my camera?

Yes. All cellular trail cameras require a subscription, much like a phone. Moultrie plans are priced per individual camera and are designed to fit your needs from 1 camera to 20+

Why do I get a lot of photos without anything in them?

Environmental factors such as wind, moving trees including the one the camera is on can trigger the motion detection and cause this. Pro versions with Moultrie AI can eliminate this before they upload. You can also adjust the sensitivity in the app.

I have poor signal in my area. Will this camera work?

EDGE Series cameras will automatically search for and connect to the strongest signal they can find. However, it may not be the same carrier as your phone. Note that there will be areas in the USA with no signal, and no camera will work.
