Excellent Book would recommend highly to any midwife. Or student MW.It goes into a lot of depth. And is also very holistic.

I am planning on studying midwifery after nursing school, and this textbook has proven to be comprehensive, interesting, thought-provoking and very well written. The information and wisdom contained herein is clearly based on evidence and decades of experience in tending women and their loved ones.

Great book!! Tons of information and it goes into great depth and explanation on everything. Easy to understand. This is a MUST HAVE for all midwives and students. Finally something written by a midwife for a midwife.

Absolutely amazing. Such great information compiled in a perfect way. Anne Frye is a phenomenal teacher! Definitely recommend for not only midwives and assistants, but doulas and educators who want to learn more!

So far, one of my favorite books in studying midwifery. Truly holistic approach. I have been reading Varney's (horribly boring and poorly written) and Miles and Mayes (both British and very well written, easy reading). Looking forward to reading more of Holistic Midwifery volume 1 & 2.
