Heelys Bolt Skate Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

First thing is they Must wear socks with these to make them fit correctly.Otherwise they have enjoyed them well since Christmas. No complaints at all.Bought a size 2 and it fits with a little room to spare on my 9 year old daughter who wears 2 in payless sizes.The wheel got gunked up while riding at a park and i had to use my keys to dislodge the wheel. Unfortunately the retaining clip fell off into the grass that keeps the wheel on the axle! I was lucky to find it but without any tools i had to improvise a way to put the clip back on with only my keys and a sidewalk to fix it.Heres the trick to getting the retaining clip back on if it falls off:Put the axle horizontal to the ground and slip on the wheelInstead of trying to force the clip into the slot in the axle from the side, rather push the clip on from the top of the axle like you would put on a sock. Use whatever you have , a bic pen, keys or whatever and slide it down into the slot.Voila!

For the first 3 months, I was extremely happy with this shoe. My son loved it and wore it every other day. The synthetic upper got cracks and the finish chipped away pretty quickly, but the sole held up great and it seemed to only be cosmetic issues. Unfortunately, during the 4th month of use, one of the uppers completely separated from the sole. My son was so disappointed, and I was too when I contacted the manufacturer and never even received a response. I'd like to think it's a one-off issue, but I'm hesitant to buy another pair of Heelys, particularly given the price paid for the low-quality materials used.

I bought 2 different models, one for my son and second for my daughter.Both are happy!Quality is good, size is good, they look nice.But I'm giving 4 instead of 5 because it is really difficult to remove wheels!Probably after some time of use backlash will appear and removing will be easier, but now it's really hard.Btw, but this is off-topic, I didn't find size for myself. I'm male and my size is European 43-44.

One year of heavy use and counting. My daughter, now 10, is still wearing these whenever she can. She even pulls the wheels and wears them to school. They are all beat up, and the wheels are trashed, but they still look decent and she still enjoys them! I would have replaced the wheels, but the price (including shipping!) dictates getting a new pair for just a few bucks more. The jury is out about two wheels on each shoe. Certainly replacing wheels would be cheaper if there was only one per shoe. Live and learn.

I live in "we always go barefoot Florida". We keep shoes in the car and put them on when we have to...and by "shoes" I mean flip-flops, usually. But, these Heeley's have not been off my 7-year old's feet except to go to sleep since she opened them. She's not complained about anything uncomfortable about them. Her normal size is 13/13.5 and I ordered her 1s and they have given her no discomfort at all. They light up, too, so they're just super cool.

I am very happy with this purchase (I paid $36.00). My son was dying for these, but since there are very few places he can actually wear them (not at school and most stores aren't happy either) I was happy to get them for a reasonable price. The manufacturer says you can take the wheels out and put them back in as needed, but that is just a huge pain in the hinnie. That being said I bought them a size bigger than what he actually is and he wears them when he can.

Goodness these things are heavy. They are really cute though. My son likes them so I like them. He said they are comfortable. HE is 6 and he does not know how to use the wheels so he mainly wears them as just sneakers to school, he loves that they light up. His only complaint is that they are heavy.I ordered a size up based on the reviews but I really didnt have too because he has plenty of room. They fit snug so you cant tell they are a little to big.

I received the shows and was very impressed with the finish. Putting an taking off the wheels was very easy. The one thing was that even though they were size 1, they fit small compared to other size 1 shoes. Therefore, I had to return them for a size 2.The shoes look very nice; they had lights that come on when walking. I did not notice this in the description, but was a welcomed feature.Shoes arrived ahead of schedule which was excellent because we are leaving on vacation.

Bought these for my daughter who absolutely loves them, pink and black with flashing lights, what not to like!! she says they are really comfy too, makes shopping more enjoyable for all! recommended! Would size up though!

Excellent. Vibrant colours. If considering purchasing be aware of the generous sizes and although the seller recommends ordering the next size up, I didn't, and glad I didn't otherwise they wouldn't have fitted. Perfect boys gift.
