Better than NiMH in almost every way with a charger alone worth buying on its own
I’ve relied on NiMH rechargeable batteries for almost all my household battery needs until recently. Some clocks and PC peripherals either wouldn’t work with NiMH’s 1.2v or would only last for half the battery’s capacity before they stop working. I’m glad I picked up this 8 pack of lithium AAA rechargeable batteries just in time to avoid going back to constantly buying new batteries. The included charger is so convenient that I actually think it's worth buying on its own. In fact, I’d love to get a similar type of charger for all my NiMH batteries. It’s compact enough to be portable but has slots for all 8 batteries. I simply drop them all in and close the lid for it to start charging. There's also a really helpful built-in light indicator on top for each slot that show the charging status of each individual battery. I also love that I can simply use the charger as a portable storage unit for all 8 batteries. The extra capacity on these batteries far exceeds any NiMH AAA batteries I’ve used, and the 1.5v output works flawlessly with all my devices that had issues with 1.2v NiMH batteries. The low self-discharge rate on these batteries is great since I can keep them charged and ready to use at near-full capacity for a long time. And with these rated for 1600 cycles, I shouldn’t need to buy any AAA batteries for a very long time.

Fire hazard
I was happily using these for wireless keyboards, mice, etc... and other light duty usage. Then I go to charge some of them using the same brand charger, and one of the lights on the charger turns red within a few minutes, and now the tip of that battery is hot, and staying hot. I have it contained where it cannot start a fire, and now I need to figure out how to dispose of it safely. That particular battery probably had 1-2 charging cycles in it. I now have zero faith in this product and need to find another solution, extremely disappointing.

IMUTO Rechargeable Li-ion AAA Batteries, w/Fast Charger, 1.5V/867mAh/1300mWh, 1600 Cycles, Qty: 8
This is a review of the IMUTO set of Rechargeable Li-ion AAA batteries and the USB-C powered Fast Charger. This product consists of eight (8) rechargeable AAA-sized batteries, a fast-charger that can accept and recharge all eight batteries simultaneously, a USB-A to USB-C charging cord, and a User Manual printed in four languages (English, German, Spanish, and Chinese). The batteries in this set utilize lithium-ion chemistry that will allow them to go through 1600 recharging cycles before needing replacement, thus eliminating much waste associated with common alkaline or carbon-zinc chemistry legacy batteries. The stated electrical specifications of the batteries are 1.5 Volts and an energy rating of 1300 milliwatt-hours (mWh). This leads to a calculated energy capacity of 867 milliamp-hours (mAh). The energy rating and the calculated energy capacity are amongst the highest of lithium-ion rechargeable batteries available on Amazon and are even higher than the values for the best rechargeable AAA Nickle Metal Hydride (NiMH) chemistry batteries. The fast-charger accepts a USB-C input and the User Manual states that the power input to the Fast Charger should be 5.0 volts @ 3 amps. This is the normal output of the original USB wall charger blocks. Please note that most of the USB chargers that conform to the newer Quick Charge (QC) or Power Delivery (PD) charging protocols are backwardly compatible and will automatically step-down to the required legacy charging protocol if they do not detect the required circuitry for QC or PD protocols to be invoked. When I received the product, I connected the Fast Charger to a USB-C charger. The Fast Charger immediately began a self-test process. After about fifteen seconds, the Fast Charger began to charge the eight batteries contained within the Fast Charger. The eight batteries took a little over an hour to fully charge. After charging, I tested several of the batteries in some commonly used electronic devices I have including a flashlight, several remote controls, and a radio. All of the devices worked properly. The flashlight operated at its normal brightness when fresh batteries are installed. The radio worked properly and produced sound at a normal, expected volume.I like these batteries because they have a very low internal self-discharge rate, which means they do not just go dead in a couple of months like what happens with some alkaline-chemistry batteries. I also like that the lithium-ion chemistry allow a constant-voltage output of 1.5 volts until the battery capacity is nearly consumed. I also like the Fast Charger supplied with this set because it can charge up to eight batteries, all at the same time, but each battery is analyzed and charged individually so that no single battery may be overcharged or damaged. I also like that the Fast Charger can detect and report when a battery being recharged is damaged or defective and must be replaced by the display of a red light instead of the green light displayed when the battery is charging or the charging has completed. Most of all, I like that I will not be throwing so many depleted alkaline batteries into the trash on a regular basis.Special Note: On the battery’s external covering, each battery is identified as “AA Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery” and as “Model AA361”. In fact, the batteries follow the AAA battery dimensions. That said, the batteries are also identified on the battery’s external covering with a large “AAA” label in gold-colored letters. The manufacturer should address this issue.

Charge quickly. Long lasting.
These are great rechargeable batteries. They charge quickly in the included charging case. The case will show if each battery is fully charged. They seem to be made from quality materials. I’ve not needed to recharge the batteries often when I use them in a device that doesn’t run all the time. To fully charge they take about 5 hours. I use these often and feel like it is a great set.

Rechargeable Batteries work well so far.
These rechargeable batteries work well so far. I mainly use AAA batteries for 3 remote controls, which are slow draining devices. I tested these for a couple of months and I'm pleased overall. The charge case has a separate indicator light for each battery, but it doesn't seem to tell the user if each individual battery is charged or not, just if they're in the case properly. Also, there's no wall plug, just a short USB cord. Still, this may be a good option for rechargeable batteries.

Nice batteries
I've used rechargeable AAA batteries for quite some time for the flameless candles in my windows as well as gaming and remote controllers. These work great for that purpose of low amperage demand for only short periods of time. The price point is decent considering it includes a handy charging case and how much I will save instead of purchasing disposable alkaline batteries.
