This upgraded 6.5Ah battery brought my old Dyson DC56 back to life! The high capacity gives noticeably stronger suction and longer run time, which is perfect for getting through a full cleaning session without needing a recharge. Installation was super easy. I watched a youtube video and it is just like the original, and it fit perfectly in my Type B model (make sure to check your Dyson type before ordering!). Just a tip: fully charge it before first use and go through a couple of full charge/discharge cycles to get the best performance. Overall, this is a great value replacement that performs just as well

Very easy to install with a small Phillips screwdriver. Works great and gives my Dyson more years. I was afraid the vac had come to the end of its life cycle but all it needed was this new battery. This is a good value. If you are worried about installing there are some easy to follow YouTube videos that show you step by step.

The battery fit and works perfectly! My Dyson sweeper is 5 years old and didn’t want to replace it! Thank goodness this battery fixed it! And with a reasonable price!

It is doing its job. A previous battery died very soon, and I look forward to seeing if this one will do better. Replacement was quick and easy, once I found a YouTube description of how to access the battery.

Update: On the product page, the seller lists the reasons to purchase their battery over others. One reason is "‌1-Year Exchange – Free replacement if the battery fails within a year." So I contacted the seller about my battery no longer working after a few uses. And they did indeed send me a replacement. The replacement battery was dead out of the box. I contacted the seller again to inform them of this. I waited a month and received no response. So I contacted them again. Another 10 days have passed and they still have not responded. This experience shows that their product is bad. 2 out of 2 batteries were defective. And they do not stand by their statement/product. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have replaced the battery on my Dyson at least 4 times with batteries I've purchased on Amazon. My Dyson is probably at least 15 years old. So these replacements generally last onlt 2-3 years - far shorter life span than the original. Still they are typically a good enough deal. This replacement lasted through 2 uses. My Dyson is basically my 2nd vacuum and only used for small jobs such as cleaning up stray litter tracked by my cats onto the hardwoods in one room. Total run time on this battery less than 10 minutes. The Dyson hangs on the wall mount charger when not in use. The battery suddenly stopped working during end vacuuming. The blue light on the side flashes and that's it. I put it back on the charger thinking maybe it hadn't plugged in correctly and had discharged. I tried several times and it has not worked since. This battery is a piece of crap and a waste of money. There are plenty of other sellers on Amazon selling the same type of battery for your Dyson. You'll be better off looking at them.

Perfect replacement for my Dyson stick vacuum and the charge lasts much longer that original Dyson.
