My new favorite flashlight!
The media could not be loaded. The Sofirn SR15 is a very impressive light! The build quality is very good, with a full aluminum body that has a nice weight, feels good in the hand, and looks great. The overall look of the flashlight is very nice, and it's a very comfortable size for a flashlight that uses a 21700 battery. It feels like it will last for a very long time. The integrated USB-C charging is very convenient as well, and there is no need for a separate battery charger. The integrated charging makes it much more practical to take places where I may not have access to a standard battery charger. As far as the functionality of the flashlight, its ability to cast a beam with both throw and flood is very impressive. During my outdoor night testing, I was able to project a beam all the way down my street, easily illuminating a line of trees and buildings at 250m. I have no doubt that it can throw farther than this, as well. In addition to its very impressive throw, the SR15 outputs a surprising amount of flood that lights up everything in front of the light for about 50 feet. This is due to its emitter configuration, which is something I've not seen before. With the pattern of four emitters configured in a square shape, the beam throws a very cool-looking pattern that looks almost like a flower. It's very interesting, and none of the other flashlights I have produce such an interesting beam. This is easily my favorite part of the light - the beam is both cool-looking, and very functional with both impressive throw and flood. The UI of this flashlight is very simple as well - it offers both stepped and stepless ramping modes, both of which are very easy to access and use unlike some similar flashlights. I prefer the ramping mode, as it's smooth and allows me to dial in the exact brightness that I prefer. My only notes for the light - I wish it were offered in different color temperatures. I generally prefer warmer lights around 3000k, and the 6000k color temperature was a bit cool for my preference. This is a very minor complaint, though. The SR15 also has a tendency to get very warm very quickly on the highest brightness setting, which is to be expected from a flashlight with a 21700 battery. I never encountered the flashlight shutting down due to overheating, but it does get a bit uncomfortable to hold after extended use. It doesn't impact regular use much, but it's something other keep in mind.Overall, I am extremely impressed with the Sofirn SR15. This light is small, well-built, and casts an extremely bright and long-distance beam, and is overall just a really good value. I have quite a few nice flashlights, and I was shocked to find that this one became my favorite for everyday use due to all of these factors. I highly recommend the SR15!

Excellent quality as usual from Sofirn, large and bright flashlight that’s easy to use
I purchased the Sofirn SR15 last month as I have been wanting to acquire more 21700 flashlights compared to my 18650 light collection. This flashlight features a quad LED setup with and a reflector design optimized to throw light up to 510 meters. As with the other Sofirn lights, this comes with a USB-C charging cable, lanyard, and instruction manual. Build quality on this flashlight is typical Sofirn, which is excellent. The design is utilitarian, which might not suit everyone's taste, but I think it looks great. This is a large flashlight as most 21700 lights are, and probably won't be the first choice for EDC. However, it does feature a sturdy clip, which works well when carrying it on your belt. The SR15 has an easy to use interface, and brightness can be set with either stepless ramping or stepped options. Double pressing the power button allows you to quickly access turbo mode. The flashlight has memory, and will turn back on to the last brightness setting used. This is a bright flashlight! At 4500 lumens in turbo mode, the SR15 will be useful to keep around the house or car for emergencies or to use for outdoor adventures. This flashlight will run for a long time in moonlight mode. The SR15 charges quickly with the supplied USB-C cable, and it can also be used as a powerbank. Flashlights that double as powerbanks make them even more useful during emergency situations.Pros:4500 lumensEasy to use21700 battery, excellent battery lifeCons:Large!

Bright!
This flashlight is compact but packs quite a punch. It easily lights up an entire room. The battery lasts a good amount of time, and the rechargeable battery makes it super easy in comparison to swapping out batteries. The build is sleek rugged and great for camping or just having as a great backup if you ever need a flashlight.

My experience with the SR15
I have had this flashlight for a little over a week and it does a great job of illuminating a large area. You can use it on medium level or step 2 without it getting hot for multiple hours. If you use high or turbo the handle does get pretty warm. I liked using both step and ramp mode and it’s great that it has onboard usb-c charging I also loved the flashlight design and it has a good feel to it when you grip the light. The beam looks like a 4 leaf clover; I think I would like the beam better if the 4 LED were blended more- but as it is, it is still a very good light. It comes with a 21700 battery so you get very long runtime when you use it and a magnetic tail. I have many sofirn flashlights and they have all held up very well. In the rare occasions where I did have an issue, sofirn took care of my issue—so you can buy with confidence!
