There is a lot of hardware. Organize it, get familiar with it. Follow the steps in order. I encountered 2 problems. The hinges that attach the platform of the bed to the cabinet. Board number 5 is weak and if you are not careful, it may splinter. Also, it was confusing which way these hinges went on. So that didn’t help. I plan to replace board number 5 with a stronger board as it has splintered a little. Also, when the bed is fully extended, be sure the end legs/brace are fully extended and in the locked position. If it is not, it will fold back down on you with any weight on it. Human error not design. Putting the drawer together was easy enough. However the prefilled hole on the brace for the bottom of drawer was faulty. Didn’t quite line up properly and ended up splintering the brace/ piece of wood. I had to use a longer screw that would catch deeper within the wood. Works fine. All in all, worth the price. I did buy 2 units. Same company, different designs. I finished the first and have yet to start the 2nd. A lot of time involved. would have been easier if I had a second person to assist. It can be done alone, but you will have sore finger tips from all the little screws. And it can be frustrating. Looks great, same as advertised. Would recommend.

This product is cheaply made. The frame of the bed part cracked where the spring is attached after only using a couple of times. We cannot use it to sleep on. It's good to look at but a waste. We may try and get a carpenter to rebuild the bed frame. It also took longer than expected to put together.

If you’re putting this together as a team of two (one would be EXTREMELY difficult) plan to block a minimum of five hours to assemble. Tons or parts and pieces and you need to organize it in sections based on the instructions before getting started! Also, need a solid drill with all the bits. Very stylish and practical for an home office, guest room, or another space where you don’t want a full bed out the entire time… but want the flexibility of having additional sleep space for extra guests.

Looks beautiful but took an ungodly amount of time and effort to assemble and now after minimal use it is broken beyond repair. Don’t bother, don’t waste your money.

DO NOT BUY. Item arrived defective, without packaging items to safeguard items and when I tried to reach out, customer service did not help. They also refused to give refund and said I should go through my bank. Would give 0 stars if I could. Waste of time and now I need to figure out how to get rid of a defective item as they want me to pay return postage on a huge item.
