India Tree Sugar Vanilla, Organic, 6.3 Ounce

I love having crystallized vanilla sugar to sprinkle on cookies, iced coffee and whipped cream. The vanilla flavor is delicious. There is an actual vanilla bean in the jar infusing the sugar. I’m on my second jar!

This jar of sugar was completely clumped up & I think I need an ice pick to loosen it up to make it usable. Not sure if it was old or moisture got in it but I’m not happy about it. I’ve ordered this many times over the years & this is a first. I would have returned it but didn’t open in a timely manner because I was using up my last jar of sugar. I’ve spent 15 minutes with an ice pick & it just doesn’t break up. I sprinkle it on top of my frothy cream on my coffee, so the clumps aren’t acceptable. I would like a discount on my next order for the hassle with this batch.

Sugar is very clumped. Vanilla scent is strong, but taste is much less noticeable. Wouldn't buy again.

I just ordered my second jar of this...I'm addicted. It's so so good. Nice vanilla taste and just enough crunchy texture because it's crystallized sugar. I use it on top of cereal, in my coffee and tea, on top of plain yogurt...and when I'm bad...sprinkled on buttered toast. It would be good on cookies or lightly dusted on frosted cake or cupcakes. So many uses for this. I used to but similar sugar from Spices Etc. for a much higher price but they stopped using the crystallized sugar so I stopped ordering but kept looking to see if they ever brought it back. Eventually, they just dropped the item from their catalog. Now I can buy this big jar of yummy vanilla sweet decadence. The price may seem steep but the jar is big - it goes a long way (unless you are as addicted as I am - and really sugar isn't that high in calories if you don''t add it to fatty foods)
