ROK StrapLeash for Pets, Large, Purple/Black

The material is not comfortable and stretches a bit too much when dog is pulling. The traffic handle is much too low and is not really a handle...it is just a large loop & it cannot be easily reached. My dog has short legs and if I use the traffic handle as it is designed on this leash, she is hovering over the side walk with strap stretching like a yo-yo. ROK should really design an in-between size that is more ideal for shorter dogs. My dog is short but strong with weight range 35-40 lbs so she is too big for the small leash, and this leash is clearly designed more toward the 60lb end of the scale and for a taller breed. Ideally, there should be a leash about 4 ft. long with 1 inch width (not 5/8 like the smaller one) with a second HANDLE (Not a loop) at about 18-20" from the clip (not 12" as the medium is designed now.)I wanted to love this leash, but it is not practical for shorter breeds. The rubber material is coarse and rough on the hands despite the less-than generous cushioning on the first handle, and the traffic handle way too low and is a slit (very uncomfortable) not a handle. There is too much give to the stretch for stronger dogs...and unlike stated on the Rok website, is not ideal for people with disabilities or injuries as I found it actually required MORE effort and tension on my arms than a traditional nylon leash. Also the leash is made in China of 100% Natural Rubber which may cause issues for anyone with a latex allergy and it has a very strong "rubber tire" like odor.

We have a Newfie and 2 Pyrenees and these are the best leashes for large to xl dogs. Its like a bungee that pulls your dog instead of you and teaches them real quick who's walking who. You can hold the strap close to you or let them go all the way. We found our 1st leash at a feed store and liked it so much, we have had to order it since we can't find them in store anymore. Great for kids to be able to walk the dogs too.

My 6th month old German Shepherd is very strong & big already, she pulls so hard & fast while walking her & if I continued to use the other leashes I’m sure she could have pulled my shoulder out.This lead let’s me have more control & will not hurt either one of us!Plus it’s cute & made WELL!

What I like is that it is very sturdy and I like the pull back. Have to try it out a few more times and see how it works when my pup gets bigger.

This leash is for any urban dog owners. It is short enough that you can always maintain control over your pet, but the stretchiness allows them to sniff out interesting things. Only issue I have with it is that the 'latch' broke after about 2 years. Still worth the price, but I like it if the leashes were more durable.

I have a 7 month old Saint Bernard. She's very powerful and very enthusiastic, so she's very hard to control on a leash. With usual leashes, I get jerked around so hard my arm aches by the end of a walk. But this leash has enough "give" in it that I don't get jerked around. I also love the short lead near the collar for when we encounter other people on our walk.

This is the most comfortable leash I’ve ever owned. It’s perfect for when you have a puller because it gives and takes the brunt of the pulling off your arm. For dogs who don’t pull it’s quite comfortable also.
