An EXCELLENT shave!
I've tried everything from various price points from Gilette 15 years in the past, Shick, straight razors, disposables, Harry's, and probably a half dozen more from various brands. I kept returning to Dollar Shave Club every time. I was happy with DSC but I wanted something that felt a little smoother and got a little closer, and this is it!The shave is buttery smooth and it gets extremely close without any irritation. I have a goatee and am able to get a really precise shave without every getting any of the hairs I want to keep.My only caveats aren't with the razor itself. I chose this specific bundle because I wanted the travel case and the vertical stand. I can confidently say I'll never use the case and most people probably wouldn't. It's a big and bulky metal and plastic tin. The plastic is perfectly designed to fit the razor, but it's oversized. If you had an empty box the same size as this case you could easily fit 4-6 loose razors in it. They could have designed the case at half the size it currently is and it would still cold the razor, stand, and an extra blade easily. The magnetic stand is OKAY. The razor does stand in it, it just doesn't feel super sturdy. It;'s fine, but one small bump and it's knocked over. A stronger magnet would really help. All in all, my caveats have nothing to do with the razor, just the accessories. It really is all about the razor and it's an excellent shave.

Great Travel Razor
This is an excellent razor. The travel case is the best. It is thin, ventilated, and fits great in your luggage. The Gillette Labs razor is great on your face and even better on your head. I recently went to the bald look and I was nervous about using a manual razor on my head, but the Gillette Labs razor made it easy with no nicks or cuts. The blade on the top makes it easy to trim under your nose which is difficult if you’re trying to clean up your mustache using the four blade position. The case is vented to prevent water from collecting in the case. It’s a must have for grooming repertoire.

Comfortable Shave
I have been using this razor for about six months now and find it to be the smoothest most comfortable razor I have ever used. I shave every other day and have no problems with irritation or nicks like other razors. I would highly recommend purchasing this razor.

Perfect Travel Razor
Very good razor with an even better travel case. The case has a magnetically secured sleeve that helps protect the razor, but is also ventilated to allow it to air dry. For what you get for the price, it's a good deal.

Very nice shaver ....
This is a very nice shaver gets down to the nitty-gritty. Also they added CASE as a game changer. Good for travel or at home in your bathroom. I love this shaver. This is my new go to..

Great shaves, plural.
These blades are simply the best I have ever used. I get a very close shave without effort. The little stand preserved the sharpness of the blades so you can use each several times. Of course, the blade holder is different from every other one available, but...

Travel Case Worth it? NO
For anyone wondering whether or not to splurge and get the version with the travel case, the answer for users who actually travels is a resounding NO. When choosing which version to purchase, one should objectively value the bulky useless travel case at zero dollars and zero cents. I tossed this joke of a travel case straight into where it belongs - the trash. Gillette should get accolades for the lesson in effective marketing gimmickry, however, in the long run it is not a sound or respectable strategy to retain customers. ----- A better value is to get the one with four blades instead. The blade is ok. Let's see how the experience goes after a few months.P.S. The also have another scam like "value enhancer" which is unlikely to be an intentional typo rather than something real - the "Premium" Magnetic Stand vs the "Ravor Stand." Again zero explanation anywhere, but why explain when you can just charge more for non-realizable temporary perceived value (until the item arrives or you forget) ?!?!
