Great value and very effective filter mask
Working in a full face mask means no more foggy goggles, and this mask has been great for daylong sweat inducing labor where P100 filters are needed. Fit is comfortable, and I always started with an exhale test and got a good seal - performance with the 3M P100s as expected. Have cleaned it after every use and with over 11 uses the silicon is still in great shape. Air quality very good when using it and I'm a happy buyer. You have to always read directions with respirators & filter selection so I wouldn't call it totally easy to use, but that's usually a first time thing.

better than goggles and respirator
I used to use the goggles and respirator that only covers your nose and mouth. But the goggles kept fogging up after 30 seconds (garage was cold). I was adding insulation and really needed to keep the fogging to nothing but still get air filtered. This fit perfect and so far has worked 100% as I had hoped. I also ordered the tear offs thinking I'd use it for grinding too as I don't like the smell of metal from the grinder.

Cheap but good? or just cheap but.... cheap?
This unit, Trudsafe 6800 does the job, seals to my face even with my close trimmed beard but I found the odor from the plastic, probably the silicone, to be so objectionable that I could not use it.I bought the Trudsafe 6800 on 12/10/19. set it out uncovered in a spare room I use as a work room. Just checked it for odor today, 12/31/19 and found the sickening strong silicone smell has finally subsided enough that I can wear this and not feel sick from the strong plastic silicone odor.21 days to finally stop stinking enough to make me dizzy if I wore it for any more then about 60 seconds.Reading glasses = NO, an important point that I need to relay, the mask is too small to allow me to wear my reading glasses I need to see small details. This is a serious problem as I was going to use this unit for applying fiberglass resin based glues & strong smelling epoxies that are going to require fine careful attention to detail. Not going to be able to see that detail unless I can find some reading glass type lenses that might fit inside of this mask.So after I discovered the 2 main problems with this mask, the strong sickening silicone odor and reading glasses issue I decided to buy a cheap but good 3M half face respirator exact name [3M Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6300] it was less then 10 bucks here on amazon but came with no filters.link >> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JZ1MK6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1This unit [3M Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6300] seals to my face even with my close trimmed beard and does it's intended job, though it also causes problems for wearing reading glasses.I bought high quality 3M Cartridges [3M 50051138541861 Multi Gas/Vapor Cartridge 6006] along with 3M filter pads [3M 5P71PB1 6000 Series Particulate Filter P95, 10-Pack] and the plastic keepers that hold the filter pads to the filter cartridge [3M Filter Retainer, 501 FILTER,RETAINER,WE 1251B001 Pack of2] to use on the Trudsafe 6800 and/or the 3M half face mask. The important note here about the above 3M filter pads is this, The Trudsafe 6800 comes with filter cartridges, filter pads and plastic filter pad keepers. The plastic keepers that are included seem to be copies of the 3M Filter Retainer, 501. This means I could have NOT purchased the 3M Filter Retainer, 501 and used the plastic filter retainers that came with the Trudsafe 6800 on the 3M filter cartridges to hold the 3M filter pads on and saved a few bucks. The Trudsafe 6800 filter keepers are more loose fitting though.BUT... Since I bought the 3M Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6300 and it did not come with any filter cartridges, I now have two complete working sets of filter cartridges, one that came with the Trudsafe 6800 and the other complete 3m set I bought. This gives me 2 complete mask filter systems I can wear and use.I mixed up some strong smelling epoxy, one of the types that I bought these filter mask so I could avoid breathing. The cartridges that came with the Trudsafe 6800 did filter out the smell completely, so I could not detect it at all. I will not attempt to replace these Trudsafe filter cartridges later if I determine they no longer work, I will be safe and use the high quality 3M filter cartridges. BUT I will gut the Trudsafe cartridges and continue to use them with the 3M filter pads as simple dust filters with the 3M Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6300. They should server that purpose quite nicely while grinding or sanding in my garage. This is everything I know and can ascertain about the Trudsafe 6800 as of now. Hope some of it is useful to you.Final thought, would I buy the Trudsafe 6800 again? Maybe. I would look for a unit that would allow my reading glasses to be used, not sure if there is an affordable unit out there that would allow that or not? If you might know of one please reply to this and post the name and model number. I am considering just taking an old set of reading glasses and mounting/gluing in the lenses inside the Trudsafe 6800 some how. I'm going to experiment with that.~

A must have for DIY auto painter!
I read the reviews, I bought it and was very discouraged when I opened the box and seen the wrapping of the filter elements as they were totally written in chinese. However I cleaned the mask (as suggested in another review) put it all together and put it on. Had an air tight seal, I also have a beard (tried to breath with filter holes covered and could not)It felt very comfortable and the lanyard strap thing was useful, when spraying I could take mask off and let it hang around my neck if I wanted. I also could not smell any paint fumes. The top part is not a cover for your head, its like a mesh type material that is just support and works very well, you would still want a cheap hooded paint suit (tyvek?)Anyway Im very happy that I bought this for my temporary makeshift paint booth in my garage.*note* pics weren't taken for this review, I was showing my aunt what I was up to these days. haha

Pleasantly surprised how well this works.
I was worried about on and off procedures compared to half masks, but I can't believe how easy this one is, with the full head net just slipping on and off when needed. It's actually way better than half masks. And the face seal is also extremely comfortable, which again shocked me since it's so easy to put on. And it's a great tight fit instantly. I have to give a little tug on the straps to the head net once every 10 uses maybe, and that's the only straps adjustment needed. It keeps the dust out of face and eyes, while providing the respirator, while being convenient to use. And the window has never once fogged up, which is crazy. A really surprising great product and value. I've used it for a few months. The only caveat is that I feel the need to tell my customers to 'not be alarmed of a nuclear threat' when I'm wearing it in their homes.

The fit was perfect, so happy with the purchase.
Was pleasantly surprised with fit and value. I was spray painting a truck frame with some real nasty paint at the last minute a friend says... "do you have sealed goggles? you don't want this mist in your eyes." Found these... the description and price fit the bill...Read the cartridge filters that it came with and they said organic solvents, so I tried them (I had back up pink ones, you know what I am talking about) and I didn't smell anything! all day long! The fit was perfect, so happy with the purchase.

Cheap
It does the job if you’re only using it occasionally. It seals good but is pretty uncomfortable and not near the quality of my 3M respirator. If you’re going to use it very often or for any period of time I would go with a name brand. If you’re only using it a few times for a specific project it will work to save money.
