O'Neill Men's Hybrid UPF 50+ Long Sleeve Sun Shirt

This shirt fits me perfectly (5'9" and 170lbs) and looks great. The fit is exactly as described, close but not tight. It is extremely light weight and dries quickly (the material dries quick enough so you do not need to take it off as soon as you get out of the water). O'Neill uses a Poly/Spandex blend in their "Hybrid" line of shirts, which is much lighter than their classic Elastane/Nylon blend. Although this shirt has long sleeves it is designed for UV sun protection, not for warmth. It is multi-purpose and not something I would consider using for prolonged periods in the water. I wore it on vacation to boat, swim, BBQ, exercise, and hangout. The neck and wrist cuffs are a little tighter than I typically prefer, but it helps the shirt hold up while swimming.

Fit was totally fine. Some reviews say it is too large, so first I ordered Large and x-Large to make sure I get the right size. They were too large! Had to return them and order a medium as I should have from the start. Once the medium came it fit as expected. It wasn't skin tight but wasn't too loose. Ordered a second one. I'm male 6'1, 165lbs. If you want a baggy look, order a size or two up, if you want a normal fit get the size you generally wear.

I read reviews prior to buying the medium. I am 5’9 155 lb. I typically buy large, but sometimes medium. I read a review for a similar sized person that said medium was good so I took a chance. The shirt was too tight for me, but not uncomfortably tight. The tag on the back said slim fit. If you like a tighter fit, the medium would work. I prefer a slightly looser fit and returned. The fit would have worked but I wouldn’t have been satisfied with it.

Great fit. Not too slim and not too baggy. I wore it for 2 weeks while in Hawaii and washed it in the sink every couple of days. Dries fast, and works great in the water. If you're surfing you'll want something more form fitting, but for SUP and general water stuff this works awesome.

Like many other reviews, I chose this particular shirt for its fit. I am 5'9" and 180 lbs and a large fits very comfortably. Material is good, and dries amazingly quick. I've worn it swimming, surfing, paddle boarding and tennis. It does not constrict or keep in heat. I am tempted to buy a few more in different colors.

I know these are designed as active outerwear, but I use these to wear around the house and sleep in in the winter. They are extremely comfortable, not too hot but keep off the chill and it's easy to throw a shirt over when you go out. They do run small, so order the next larger size unless you prefer a skin tight fit. Also, they pack light for travel.

bought this to use as a rash guard for surfing and instead of sunscreen for my arms/shoulders. the fabric feels almost water repellant, like a wet suit when you first dive in, and it starts drying the moment you're out of the water. fit is a bit looser than a traditional rash guard, so it's not skin-tight at all. PERFECT for my use case, but your mileage may vary.

The only thing I don't like about this sun shirt is that it keeps lifting up when you're sitting on your board. So in essence, it's not covering you. It's not a rash guard, so I'm having to adjust to how it fits.

I'm 5'9 and 160lbs. The medium fits me perfectly. The shirt length, arm length are just right. The "slim fit" is not too tight and loose enough. The subtle branding and styling works for wearing on the street, cycling and water sports.A small difference between the photos and the shirt I received is the "Hybrid 50+ UV protection" logo is on the left rear hip area instead of the wrist (as shown on the photo).

Fits as described. Close but not too snug. Fabric feels great - it's poly, but feels like a soft heavier weight cotton. Breathes, doesn't feel plastic. Dries quickly.

This shirt does the job - very light and the fabric is pretty soft - love it! Just make sure you get the correct size - not true to size in my case... had to return it and get the next size over.

Works well. I work all day outside and havent burnt yet.

It fits loose and very comfortable. It’s been washed a few times and came out perfect.
