Good quality cable
The cable is of good quality and working as intended, allowing NVidia G-Sync connectivity through the laptop's dedicated USB-C port (alt DP) on a monitor with AMD FreeSync.

Truly certified, manages 4k 240hz perfectly
Had issues getting a new monitor to run at 4K 240Hz over HDMI 2.1, so I thought I'd try this cable and it fixed everything. Smooth performance, no flickering or weird glitches, and G-Sync worked right away. The cable feels solid, no loose connections, and it was long enough to snake through my monitor arm and desk setup with room to spare. Bonus points for having the certification clearly labeled. I checked it on the displayport.org and was able to verify it's legit. My monitor actually only runs displayport 1.4 but this cable was fully compatible. Having saved me a huge headache, I think the price is very fair.

My favourite cable brand since 2003
This cable is by no means any different to all other Cable Matters cables I bought over the years, be it the quality of signal or the looks. Don't get other reviewers who mentioned cable is tacky or slippery, the quality is top notch. I've connected it to my Mac mini M4 Pro and 49" G93SC Odyssey OLED G9 240Hz (5,120 x 1,440) monitor, works with advertised 240Hz refresh rate straight out of the box. This USB-C to DisplayPort Cable is VESA Certified and fully compliant with the latest DisplayPort 2.1 standards. Buy with no hesitation, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent product
Excellent product. I use this to output 4K 120 Hz resolution to an external monitor from my MacBook Pro M3. Simple plug-in play design, used almost every day without issue since purchase. Solid value for money. Cable is quite short in length, but this was what I wanted. Since I use my laptop as a second screen and I use the keyboard and trackpad I wanted my cable run nice and short which this does perfectly.

Solid cable, just lacking that premium polish
This cable is a good choice for anyone looking to connect a laptop to an external monitor using the USB C port on the laptop and the display port on the monitor. The cable feels solid but lacks the braiding that most cables come with nowadays, not that it affects the functionality of the cable in anyway. The connectors fell basic and don't give me the same impression as some of the more premium offerings even though they can be picked up for a similar price point.

Good for high refresh/resolution, no flickering!!!
tried MANY different cheap chinese cables for a mac mini to 165hz WQHD monitor and they all caused on/off flickering, this is the only cable which i have tried that completely eliminates that, recommended for any high refresh/resolution set up

180Hz and HDR from Mac Studio for 34" display - no hassle
Great - swapped from HDMI to this on my Mac Studio with AOC 34" cheap gaming monitor and it went from 60Hz to a full 180Hz - simple connection and well-made cable with easily recognised ends when you have a row of USB-C/Thunderbolt plugs all doing different things. Worth paying a bit more for that certified performance since I tried a couple of other cables I had and didn't get the necessary throughput.

Good Support
I used two of these on a Mac with an OWC Thunderbolt 4 dock and dual 27" QHD screens. Works at 1440p@120Hz zero issues (HDR also works). My monitors only support a maximum of 180Hz which these cables have zero issue with.

Turns out that little 'VESA Certified' text is actually incredibly important when it comes to these USB-C to DisplayPort cables! More expensive, but absolutely worth it.

If you want to use an Odyssey G9 57" monitor at the full 7680x2160 resolution, this cable is the way to go! It does tie up one of your thunderbolt ports, but it's more reliable than the HDMI port on the computer is, as annoying as that is. As you can see in the picture, a ton of resolutions work, all at 120Hz, with HDR support too. Since my monitor only has 1 displayport connector, I then plugged it into my cable matters displayport 1.4 KVM switch and am happy to report that the screen still works at 7680x2160@120hz! So it's a little expensive, but the connectors are great - the monitor end doesn't have that goofy button on it. I'm very happy!

Work as it should be.
