It more or less works
Had this for about 3 years since it pretty much came out. First to be aware, its got a fan and its not loud like for a server room but also you are not going to want it in your home office. It will be fine in a cupboard. Its unmanaged. I have this connected to a router (DrayTek). I have a few switches connected. For this one, if the router restarts I find the connected devices don't reconnect and the switch needs a bounce. It's a minor annoyance. I don't have to do this with a cheap unmanaged 1Gbit Netgear. So overall if you need the speed, but don't want to break the bank this is not a bad.

Supplied without UK plug
Ordered from the UK, arrived with foreign plug and no adapter in the package. Absolutely useless.

A sturdy unit that feels solid and runs cool at full speed. A cost effective product particularly when on sale.

I bought a pair of these to upgrade the house to 2.5G ethernet. I kept the same mix of Cat5 and Cat6 cables and connected everything up. Everything that could negotiate to 2.5G did successfully. The gigabit devices stayed at gigabit, and the odd 100Mb connection I have worked as well. It was absolutely plug-and-play just like the gigabit switches

Works great. Plug and Play. 10G gear prices need to keep dropping though!
