My 4- and 6-year-old grandkids absolutely love these. I’ll have to order an extra set since they both want to play with them simultaneously. The magnets are very strong, though the character blocks don’t contain any magnets. It’s a fantastic way to encourage them to take a break from playing Minecraft on the computer.

Bought this set for my two sons (7 and 5) and they absolutely love them. Even my 3 year old plays with them. They love that they can build their own Minecraft towns and stuff. I homeschool as well and it’s been beneficial for their imagination and hands on educational purposes.

This set of blocks are attractive in both the literal and artistic sense. Kids can create their own visual concoctions with these mini blocks.Cons:-------------* The blocks are SMALL. Know that these are not as large as may be reflected on the images. They are around an inch or so, and so if you're expecting larger size blocks (like the usual alphabet block sizes), these will not fulfill that role.* The blocks are *all* you get. You don't have miniatures or anything else to bring your world to life: instead, you have blocks of "people" to populate your world. Not a bad thing, just something to be forewarned about.* The imagination portion is solely on the player. The blocks themselves are raw components to that.Pros:----------------* Magnetic blocks affix to all other magnetic blocks with the interesting approach that you don't have blocks only able to be attracted to other sides of blocks with opposite polarity. Instead, this issue is solved so the blocks can all stick together. And isn't sticking together what we teach kids to do anyway? :)* Unlike other block sets, there's a truly visceral joy to the blocks "snapping" together when creating your landscapes. It really is a small but powerful point of joy.* The artwork on the blocks is attractive and charming, and the variety of block types allows for flexible creation limited solely by the mind of the artistic kids using them.,Verdict:------------* Take a basic simple tried and true premise (blocks), add a clever facet (magnetic attraction), and color them up, and you have a construction kit that kids and adults can enjoy for years to come. This was a big hit with both our 5 year old and her parents and grandparents. Recommended.
