Nicely made for a variety of uses -- Including an Ipe bench
These are nicely made with thick, glossy black powder-coating. They don't have all the ugly holes that the Simpson ones do... and look much cleaner I used these to make an Ipe-Wood outdoor bench (4x4 post tops connected to Pylex Anchor brackets and then to Ipe slats). Bench is super-solid and should last 30 years.

Just what I was looking for. Anchored them down to a concrete patio and they held the 4x4's in place. Works great!

One came with missing parts, but the rest worked great!
Very easy to install and works great. My one complaint is that I ordered five of these and one of them came without the bolt. I had to go to the hardware store and purchase my own so that it would hold the weight of my deck post. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Sturdy, snug fit, and easy to fasten.
Snug fit, tightening bolt secures post really well. Add screws I'm the bottom and the post isn't going anywhere. Heavy duty steel. Great product.

Very pleased with this product. It took some extra effort with a 3lb hammer to get them to set into the frame, but once installed they were solid.

Solid material, but not sturdy enough for a stand-alone post.
These are OK. Because the metal casing/sides don’t go very high, the posts are a little wobbly regardless of how much you tighten the bolt. Additional bracing fixed the issue. For a structure with cross bracing and is stable on its own, these would do a fine job fastening down the structure
