Tastes Better Than Manuka Honey!
Big honey people over here. We LOVE our manuka honey, which comes from one flower in one region of the world in NZ. There is a whole registration and certification system, and the potency for manuka is tested and re-tested and third-party tested (and probably re-tested -- it's a lot!). So when you purchase manuka, which is typically pretty expensive because of 1) how it is collected, and 2) the certification process, it is just expensive. But Jarrah and Marri honey is a little different. Kind of newer to the field of competition with manuka, because there were more recent studies that showed it may be as strong if not stronger than manuka in certain properties -- especially relating to antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties. Yes, at certain ratings with marri and manuka honey, you can apply it to wounds for helping! Check out the literature on that, and the studies, as I am not an expert but just a honey-loving, bee-hugger.With marri, specifically this product, it is much softer and smoother, and more what you would consider it to be for a more traditional honey. Nice flavor and sweetness, but you can taste the little bit of peroxidy bite -- which manuka honey often has a VERY strong peroxide-like flavor or smell. But this marri honey does not, and it is much more enjoyable. To that point, it is also much more affordable. Marri honey doesn't (yet) have the aura that manuka does. Thus, it is a lot easier to purchase and a lot more affordable, whereas manuka can be harder to find the credible ones and also a lot more expensive (some bottles easily over $200).So if you are a honey lover, and looking at the benefits of manuka but don't want to pay that price, you should do some research on marri honey and specifically this product. This one tastes great and is very smooth, while touting a lot of health benefits. I can't possible test the health benefits and confirm the analysis that it says it has, but I certainly can test the taste and I love this!My only criticism is that my jar lid broke, which it is plastic. I would think for such a high-end product with a very nice label design and branding, that the jars would come with a stronger lid. Otherwise, no complaints and this honey is a family favorite!

Great flavor
Delicious! I use this on toast for a nice sweet treat with added health benefits. It's a great flavor, not very medicinal when you pair it with other foods but when you try it plain, it is a little bit more medicinal tasting.

It doesn't taste as good as manuka honey.

Honey that tastes beautiful
In my forty-six years on earth, I have only tasted honey (clover honey) or honey-sauce that comes from Popeyes. Honey was for tea when we were sick and in yummy peanut butter sandwiches. The sugars would granulate together in the bottom of the bottle, leading to frustration and fighting the battle with the microwave. It was affordable.I was able to pick up this Koora Marri honey, and I was a bit intimidated by it. The price was much higher than I've ever spent. Would I like it? I was hoping so, as well as being able to use it in other recipes. It took a few days to open it. It had a smell unlike anything I have come across. A deep floral, but somewhat earthy, but mellow? It is way too hard to describe. However, my first taste!! My first taste was incredible. The honey fills your mouth and is actually smooth! Like velvet. I'm sure my eyes widened. The flavor is hard to describe for me. It's not as sweet as regular honey and definitely not as dense - at least it doesn't feel heavy in your mouth. Alright, it's like Clover honey is a child's birthday party, and this honey is a speakeasy with a jazz band. It is much more sophisticated while remaining versatile and delicious. There are so many people who have no idea this exists and may never. It's honey for grown-ups, leaving the lightly sweet nectar to swirl around your mouth. It's a real treat. I have never had anything like it before.

It's okay as honey, but nothing special as manuka honey seems to be.
Tastes like ordinary honey plus a smokey flavor. It makes manuka honey look and taste special, in comparison. I have bought three different manuka honeys, and they tasted quite different among each other. Now I am left wondering what it was I had bought with the manuka honeys, it seems to have been an illusion of magic suggested by a special taste and consistency, even though it varied widely among the three manuka honeys. This honey doesn't have it. If I have cause to change my opinion I will revise this.
