Jackson Galaxy Denim and Sisal Twisted Kicker Toy

The is the second one i bought my cat. He loves this thing. It's not meant to last, it's a cat kicker after all and it takes quite the beating from my cat. He had one that lasted a little over a year. After realizing this was his favorite toy and he destroyed the first one, i ordered another one. And sure enough, he immediately went after it. So much fun to watch him play with it.

I have read so many reviews about the stuffing coming out of this toy, but that’s the best part about it! I mean, they’re cats. With claws. The point is they love it! I took this sweet boy in a couple years ago, and the first thing he did when he came inside with my other cats was to dive into their toy box. He came out with this toy and has loved it ever since. It is so raggedy now, but that’s what makes it so special. I bought another one like it when I saw that he loved it so much, but he still prefers the shredded one. I guess he wants the other cats to know what he’s capable of, but even though he has ‘killed’ it several times, it stays in tact by the string and doesn’t shed. I just wish they still made this one!

Our cat Storm, 3-4 years old, with all of his claws - he absolutely was all over this toy from the first moment it was opened. Rolling around with it, rubbing his face all over it, hugging it close constantly. After a few days he realized he could bite and kick on it and loved to do that a little bit each day. He REALLY grew to love grooming the ends of it for some reason. One night I had to shut him out of my bedroom for the night and when I came to the living room the next morning, cotton stuffing was all over the floor and the toy was in two pieces! He was quite proud of himself. I tried buying a no-name similar toy at Walmart and Storm never liked it - didn't feel the same, smell the same, or sound the same - he barely touched it. So a couple months later I bought second one of these as the price is fair for several months of active play with an indoor/outdoor cat. Sadly, he has vanished only a few weeks after my second purchase, so I can't say much about the sequel. But if you have an active cat, they will LOVE this. Just don't expect this to be a toy you keep intact for a full year - as a pet owner, I'm perfectly okay with that so long as I'm not buying new toys every month.

I have 4 cats. As soon as it came out of the box naturally the shyest cat claimed the box, and I gave the toy to the cat I got it for (a 3 year old manx mix rescued from a bush in a Lowe's parking lot when she was just 5 weeks old) in the hopes of discouraging her from shredding rolls of paper towels. She loved it, and took it, but was a little unsure about it if I was close (probably because of me exclaiming "Beans! No!" and taking the paper towels from her every time she steals them and the association that the behavior is wrong, instead of it being the paper towel shredding that is wrong). She played for a while before Diva (an 8 year old DLH a cat my brother rescued birthed) took it from her. Diva played for a while before her brother Bjorn (pictured) bullied it away from her. When Bjorn got bored, my daughter dropped it in the box with Benjamin who is Bean's sister (she was skin and bones and hissy/bitey and too scared to adequately inspect; we thought she was a boy until she was calm enough to be checked) and now Beans is looking for it. Benjamin is also doing her best to disembowel it. I only got the 1 because I wasn't sure if my cats would go for it and now they are all stealing it from one another every chance they get and it is soaking wet because of all the biting and kicking and dragging (Diva flung it across the room and jumped on it too). I will definitely order more so the cats won't absolutely destroy this one as fast, and so Bjorn doesn't beat up Diva to take it. If you have multiple cats, get the 3 pack. It's worth it.

I’m kind of mixed on this one… the photo and video are from maybe a couple or few months after purchasing it, but it already started breaking down a day in. But it’s because my cat LOVES it. Definitely not very durable from the start, but it’s been about the same level of trashed for the last few weeks or so… so it’s not completely annihilated. It’s just the middle section that breaks down so fast, but it’s also because when I first got it my cat was playing with it almost non stop for days on end. All in all, maybe worth it for the price. Your cat will definitely get a kick out of it (see what I did there?)

This toy is amazing. I have no idea what they put in it, but it's more than plain catnip. I have three cats and I picked up one of these kickers with the oldest the day I brought him home from the shelter. It's been his favorite toy for years, but it was recently sacrificed to a very stinky kitten bowel movement - so I ordered a new one! Once again, it holds his attention better than any other toy, catnip or no catnip, but what's really amazing is that it engages my hyperactive kitten and the middle brother, too! Middle Brother is actually playing with it as we speak and that is a true miracle because in the year I've had him he has shown zero interest in any toy that wasn't a laser toy or a string. I tried three varieties of catnip, mixes with silvervine and valerian, pure silvervine and valerian - nothing got more than a second sniff from him. Yet this toy he not only approached all on his own, but he has been actively wrestling with it for almost half an hour now. There must be true blue kitty crack laced in this toy and I wish they'd share the recipe. For now, I'll settle for ordering two more!

Il prodotto è di buona fattura, si vede; però insomma, 12 euro per un giochino di stoffa di produzione cinese è cmq un po' caro. Ma soprattutto il mio gatto si spaventa quando lo vede vicino, quindi sicuramente non è per tutti.

Mes chats adorent

Some reviews say it fell apart quickly, but this thing withstood my 18lbs of pure muscle tomcat viciously killing the ever loving nip out of this thing for about a month before it started splitting. He especially loved to bite and rip the felt off the ends. Usually we shop for his toys in the puppy section, but this performed satisfactorily. It was a little narrow for him to grip comfortably which may have helped it last longer, but I suspect it would be a fine width for normal sized cats.

Leider ist die Mittelbanderole bereits nach einem Tag ausgefranst und wird wohl nicht lange halten. Ansonsten stabiles Material, richtige Größe für die Miezen.
