Q: Can anyone who actually used the "EZ-Ink" brand TN-450 toner comment as to what their actual page yield was? Some people say they only got 1300 pgs

I've been getting about 1,400-1,500 pgs each. It's not the 2,400 they advertise, but I think it's still cheaper than going name-brand (and I haven't tested the name brand yield, so that might not be as high as promised either).

TRY REMOVING THE TONER AND DRUM FROMY PRINTER. SHAKE WELL, RELOAD DRUM AND TONER. Richard.

just about every town and city has different rules about what folks can an can't dispose of in there garbage .where I live if it fits in the trash can they will pick it up . so I just put the empty cartridge in the plastic cover I took the replacement out of and put it in the trash . simple .

Q: How does one know when one needs a new drum vs new ink cartridge on a brother mfc-7860dw?

On my brother printer, 7740 DW, there was a drum light that came on that indicated the drum needed to be replaced. The drum is very inexpensive and it’s very easy to swap out. Instructions are on the brother website.
