Good hardware specifications for the money. Unit is very quiet, although the drive bay caddies can rattle a bit which is rather annoying. Unit seems to stay fairly cool. Build quality is very nice.UGOS is pretty good, certainly not as full featured or as many apps as Synology but works for my needs. Dedicated app makes it easy to use and access from mobile.Using it mainly for photo storage and CCTV recording and transcribing. Also have a couple of other Docker containers running.If I need more storage, I’ll definitely look at the larger models.

Easy to install, running perfectly, very well built, cost effective, deserve five star

The product is sturdy and the cables provided are more than long enough for my setup. The user guide to install the hard drives were clear and easy to follow. I didn't realise that it ran on its own operating system and was unclear on how to connect to my windows file system at first but eventually figured it out. It's nice and quiet and fast on transfer speeds. For the price would definitely recommend.

The UGREEN DXP2800 Is a great NAS for home users it has all the apps you need, can use 3rd party NAS Hard drives and 2 x m.2 SSD slots for extra Storage, metal case,Dust filter,has modern fast easy to use UI with a good firewall,best not to turn on remote access till you have set up your firewall.Good Value for money,only thing missing is client VPN Support. 2.5 Gbps is a great speed for file transfers.The CPU is the intel N100 which is very fast.Very happy and glad i moved from the other big NAS brand to UGREEN NAS.

Really good NAS with an easy to use OS, simple storage pool setup and great VM and docker support. Set up was quick.The system is slightly noiser than the QNAP TS-251B but is much quicker and has more memory. Adding NVMe drives is easy, as is changing the RAM. Even in the recent mini-heat wave (where ambient hit 30C) the drives stayed around 39-40C whcih seemed reasonable.The native app choice is quite limited but with docker, this isn't really an issue. I use docker for Emby as the main media server so don't know how the native apps compare but Emby was a really easy install.I bought it at a reduced price and for c. £260 I don't think there is a better NAS chassis available...

So much better than I expected. The included UGOS software is excellent, really easy to manage your storage and shares on the network. The added bonus is the ability to use docker which means you can install all sorts of server software like Plex, Jellyfin, Syncthing and Nextcloud - Turning your NAS into a fully fledged home server. Low power, low resources, everything just works great. All managed through the desktop app on your PC and there's also a phone app. Build quality and packaging are also first class, your drives just click into place no screws required.

This UGREEN NAS exceeded expectations. I’m running the DXP2800 model with 2x NVMe SSDs and it performs flawlessly for home media, backups, and Docker containers. The Intel N100 chip is efficient and responsive — perfect for tasks like Plex streaming, file syncing, and light virtualization.Setup was straightforward using the UGOS Pro interface, which is surprisingly polished. It supports Docker, Samba, snapshots, remote access, and more. I’ve deployed Jellyfin, AdGuard Home, and a few other containers without any issues.Thermals are well managed, and the fan is quiet — nearly silent even under load. Build quality feels premium, and the 2.5GbE port makes file transfers lightning fast, especially with SSDs.If you're looking for a quiet, capable NAS that supports NVMe and containerisation without breaking the bank, this is a fantastic option.
