So cute!!
So cute. I got these for my daughter. She has a bunch of dresses that are long enough to go to her ankles like she likes, but too big in the waist. These pull back the waist so beautifully!! Perfect!!They were a good value at the price I paid. I honestly would have paid more. It's nice to have a variety too. They work great, look great, aren't too heavy for the dresses, and were cheap enough to not break the budget!! Win!

fun old-fashioned accessories
I ordered these sweater clips out of a sense of nostalgia, since I remember my grandmother wearing them to keep her cardigans closed. The sweater clips are remarkably versatile, since they can be used to clip together more than just sweaters; I am using one to snug up the back on a loose-fitting dress, and it looks great. One of the clips in my package of four was missing a ring that attaches the clips to the center decorative element, but the other three seem to work perfectly.

Ok but kind cheap looking
These are larger than I thought they would be and look pretty cheap and gaudy. If you don't look too close the silver ones aren't too bad.

For the price, this is a great set.
As I write this, these are priced at $4, so $1/clip. That is pretty inexpensive.I do a lot of knitting and crochet, and I really want to be able to make shawls and scarves that are actually wearable. My biggest issue is that I live someplace with a lot of wind, and that makes shawls in particular a real challenge. So I make them, and they sit, unused. These clips are a great solution to that. I can put a shawl on, use the clip to securely hold it in place, and it is a lot less likely to blow off of me. I say "less likely" because I've had the wind take a poncho off of me and blow it down the road. 50+ mph winds will do crazy things.I included a photo of the back of all four clips, which I hope will help show what I'm talking about in this paragraph. The clasps on each are the same, with the metal tab locking down and covering a 'grabby' clip underneath. These hold really well, and there is plastic on the grabby part that protects the clothing item. Anyway, the clips are arranged from the stiffest one on the bottom up to the most 'loosey goosey' one on top. The top one is really hard to open, though closing is pretty straightforward. With the one on the bottom, you have some leverage because the clasp part is well anchored to the decorative part. I think that top one is going to frustrate me too much for me to continue to use it.On the other hand, that one is a lot more 'bendy' and will probably work a lot better for some of my smaller kerchief types of pieces, where the larger, stiffer one probably won't be flexible enough to work in those situations. The clips are all very light, so they aren't weighing down the scarf or shawl, which is something I really appreciate. I haven't been out in the wind since these arrived, but wearing these with a shawl has been nice as I don't have to constantly have the shawl falling off of me. I really love the idea of working up a nice, cozy, squishy, warm shawl and having one of these with it for just wearing around the house. It seems a lot more practical than some of my other "keep warm" options.Something else I want to be doing is to use these with my cardigans. I do have a couple of those that I have put into storage as they never seem to stay on right. I've been thinking these might solve that problem for at least a couple of them.

Did not meet my expectations

Does the trick for me!
These are really fun for clipping a buttonless cardigan together or a cape. I also use them to cinch in a vest. They are pretty cute with both silver and gold options. They look a little cheap close up--but they mostly won't be examined that closely.

I tried using a safety pin to adjust it, but it just didn't look right, and kept puckering in the wrong places. So I decided to give these a try. These are beautiful. They look exactly like the listing photos. (I should've taken a picture of them when I was wearing the shirt, but I neglected to. My bad. But it looked great.) I ended up using one on the back of the shirt and another on the front-- yes, the shirt is cut that big in the waist. These are super easy to use. The two ends pop open, and there's a clamp/gripper that has a rubberized cover over it so the teeth don't damage your garment. You close a small fold of the garment in the clamp, close the top cover (which is what you see from the front), and then do the same on the opposite end.I also use these to close my cardigans that are open front, without buttons or zippers. (Why do they make cardigans like that?!?) The cardigan won't be completely closed, but it won't flap around anymore either.I really like that this set comes with both gold and silver options. They're all very pretty and well-made. Definitely a good value for the price. They're heavy enough to feel sturdy, but not so heavy that they weigh the garment down.Very functional and practical. I will use these for years! Happy customer.

Distributor not paying attention
The clips work well, and the decorative metal pieces are good and solid. But I got these to use for costume cloaks, because I liked the grandma jewelry look - but my set came with two of the same style, and my least favorite of the ones shown. It's not worth the bother of sending this back, so... I've still got two that are pretty cool, and four functional items, but I'm disappointed. You would not want to buy these for cheap single layer satin or velour capes. They are relatively heavy and large, so if you use them as a closure, the garment has to be thick, fully lined, or both. As dress cinchers, this would be less of an issue. The cost was small, but I'm not happy.
