Miracle-Gro Shady Lawn Seed, Child and pet Friendly - Coverage 28m2, 840g Box, Yellow

Really good strong thick growth from this seed and germination rate is good.

I bought a rotary spreader at the same time as these seeds, but I needn't have bothered. One side of the box that the seeds come in has a removable strip. Behind the strip are multiple holes along the side. Holding the box with that side facing away from you and jiggling it from side to side, allows the seed to drop out while you walk up and down the lawn area. I was very impressed. The seed has only been down for a few days so I won't know how it performs for another couple of weeks. I did cover the seed with fleece, so fingers crossed. I believe the coverage was for 28sq yards and my garden was just over 24. The box would have had a small amount left over when I finished but I used it up over areas I thought needed more.

This shady lawn seed was good although with the very dry summer had to give plenty of water at night but it came good and lovely and green

Not a grain grew,raked ground over and shook the whole packet over 10ft x 12ft shaded area, kept soil sprayed and moist for prescribed time , rsins came and area staued moist,but nothing and no birds as cats 3 next door roam. Have to go forvturf before i sell up

So far so good fingers crossed it will bloom
