This replaces the parallel or serial port on the original printer with a Ethernet jack, extending the life of the printers. The print servers we were using to connect the parallel printers to the network suddenly stopped working on 1/1/18 for no apparent reason. I am glad I did not have to buy a bunch of new printers. Service and delivery were fast and they come with good instructions on how to set the IP address.

Works on TM-T88V
I installed a couple of these on TM-T88V printers at work. They were easy to install once I figured out that DIP Switch 2-8 needs to be turned on so that it will work. That was the only change needed on the printer.
