Works well with my new system as an add on satellite to expand range.

I have a two-story house made of cinder block, and no mesh system, and I mean none, could give me solid coverage. I’ve tried the Deco M9 Plus (2 units), Eero Pro 6e (4 units), and even the Deco AXE5400 (3 units). No matter what I did, the signal couldn’t get through the walls or reach my outdoor security cameras. I finally caved and bought the Orbi 870 3-pack, and let me tell you, these things are D—n good. I was getting my full 2Gb speed just running two of them, and adding the third gave me full coverage all the way outside to my cameras. I used to avoid Orbi because of the price and because I thought it wasn’t compatible with Frontier Fiber. I was so wrong. Setup was simple, and while the app has limited options, you can access the web interface for more control and customization. The speed is stable. I haven't had any issues with disconnection. These Orbis have completely restored my faith in tech. Reliable, powerful, and worth every cent.

The Netgear Orbi 870 WiFi 7 mesh system has been a fantastic upgrade for my home network and easily earns a strong recommendation from me. It delivers exactly what I wanted: blazing-fast speeds, rock-solid reliability, and truly whole-home coverage. I have a 4,000-square-foot home, and this system blankets every corner with a strong signal, including my backyard and even as I’m driving up to the house, where devices still latch onto the network without dropping. The mesh is seamless, so I can walk from room to room and outside without noticing any change or interruption in connectivity on my phone, laptop, or smart home devices. Download and upload speeds are consistently excellent and fully take advantage of my high-speed internet connection. Even with multiple people streaming, gaming, and working from home at the same time, there’s no buffering or slowdown. I run about 75 devices on my network—including TVs, cameras, smart home gear, phones, and computers—and everything stays connected with strong, stable signals. The Orbi 870 is designed for highly connected households and supports a large number of concurrent devices, which shows in day-to-day use. Setup was super easy using the Orbi app; it walks you through everything step by step, from plugging in the units to naming your network, and has the system up and running in minutes. The app also makes it simple to manage the network afterward, like checking connected devices or updating firmware when needed. This WiFi 7 mesh system delivers on its promises of speed, coverage, and reliability, and it feels like a true “set it and forget it” solution. For anyone with a larger home or lots of connected devices who wants top-tier performance and effortless management, I highly recommend the Netgear Orbi 870 WiFi 7 mesh system.

Good wifi 7 mesh system. Vertical range not up to expectation.

This is quite literally the worst router money can buy. It’s expensive, and yet somehow it managed to break my entire FiOs setup during installation. I eventually got it fixed, but even simple things like logging into the app require unnecessary steps and aren’t user-friendly at all. Unfortunately it’s too late for me to return it now that it’s finally up and running.
