Extremely effective device, but has a few limitations.
This past spring, we started having issues with squirrels on our back deck. They were cute at first, but soon started causing some serious damage to the wood. Though there are probably only 4-5 squirrels in the immediate area, we would spot them on the deck upwards of 40 times per day, and the damage grew (see photo). Being animal lovers, we opted for non-lethal options. We investigated several models. This unit, unlike many others, does not rely on motion detection to activate (the problem area is 180 degrees). Following the instructions, we started using the unit on the lowest setting. The next day, I observed 3 squirrels within 2’ of it, strangely gazing at the new addition. After this, I opted to increase power to the second of three settings. Almost immediately the number of squirrel sightings on the deck has decreased from 30-50 per day to less than 3 per week (it’s been running constantly for 3 weeks now). This is a great unit, and does exactly as advertised, but with a few drawbacks. I’ll hit the pros first, because I feel they outweighs the cons. Pros: - Operates 24 hours a day, not only when motion is detected in a specific direction. - Has three adjustable settings so you can vary based on amount of activity, or to prevent the animals from becoming accustomed to one particular range of sound. - The two lower power modes are inaudible (at least to my family). - Has virtually eliminated squirrel sightings (and new damage) to the deck. - Has both 180 degree horizontal as well as a vertical speaker to deter animals above the location. Cons: - Is not waterproof, so it must remain under a covered roof. In my case, this was not a major issue as the deck is covered. - Requires constant power (so I had to run an extension cord from the garage to the deck. Minor inconvenience, but a drawback nevertheless. - The highest power setting has a noticeable (and irritating) high pitch warble. This is perfectly fine when windows are closed and the air conditioner is running, but you would not want to sit outdoors next to it for extended periods of time. Overall, it’s a great unit and was successful in doing as advertised. If I could offer feedback for future iterations of the unit, I would ask for slightly better range (I still have squirrels causing problems in the garden (roughly 60’ away) and perhaps more robust weather resistance. The power cord issue would be moot if I could move it further into the yard (in an overhead-exposed location). Worth the price. Would highly recommend if your conditions allow for the above.

THIS DID NOT WORK FOR SQUIRRELS.
I have 2 English walnut trees in my yard. In the year since purchasing this home, I've had zero luck at getting rid of the dozen squirrels who think it's their backyard. I was excited 2 get these "sure thing" electronic device. I bought 2 of them bcuz I'm determined 2 rid my backyard of squirrels so I can finally PLANT MY LAWN! Didn't even slow them down. They're tenacious & unyielding. I've tried scaring them w/loud banging noises, squirting them w/ water, sprayed the trees w/ predator urine, shot them w/ a bee bee gun, & purchased other "for sure" remedies, including this electronic device...ALL TO NO AVAIL. There are so many holes in the ground that it's dangerous 2 walk out on the yard at night. AND HERE IT IS...FALL - the best time 2 plant, & my yard is still infested w/ a gozillion squirrels that just keep on coming! A year ago there were 10 to 12 squirrels dominating the back yard. My sweet baby dog (Chihuahua & Maltese can't even play in the yard bcuz of the sharp walnut shell pieces everywhere. I've been hosing the shells off the yard &/or raking/blowing them off every day, but I've given up. As the very last resort, I asked my husband 2 get rid of them. So far, he's killed 5 of them w/his pellet gun, but says he just doesn't want 2 do it anymore. I understand. Nobody wants 2 kill adorable squirrels, but if this product didn't phase them, other than trapping them, it's the last resort. (I've spent over $350 trying 2 deter the squirrels & I'm out of time & money!...ITS NOW OR NEVER! So now I'M the one shooting at them w/the pellet gun. I'm afraid I can't endorse this electronic device 4 ridding the yard of squirrels. They pay no attention 2 it. It's down & deadly time.😣🚫🐿💣jlp

Simple easy 3 sides that emit frequency to get rid of squirrels
This product is super easy . Small compact and very light weight . We had a problem with a single squirrel however it was enough to cause a nuscience . We didn't want it possibly goin in it attic or parts of the house somehow. It seem this device I think strictly targets squirrels only. We have two dogs and they don't seem to be bothered by the sound. The instructions recommend 1st setting and work your way up but we just started on the level 2 seems to work no squirrel issue since we plugged it in . 3rd setting does have audio pitch that may bother people or pets possibly but i only in extreme circumstances would you need it. Very happy with product so far no complaints

Effective Squirrel Repeller, Requires Patience
Effective Squirrel Repeller I had a persistent problem with squirrels running and playing on my roof, especially at inconvenient times like 6 PM and 2 AM. It was frustrating, and I needed a reliable solution. After receiving the Cleanrth PCS101 Squirrel Repeller, I set it to run continuously (mostly using Mode 2). Within 2–3 days, I noticed a slight decrease in squirrel activity, though they still showed up several times a day. However, after 10 weeks of consistent use, their visits have drastically reduced—now only about 1–2 times a week, sometimes none at all for an entire week! Pros: - It works, but patience is key. You’ll need to give it time to see results. - Covers a large area, making it effective for bigger spaces. - Three speakers provide almost 3D protection, with well-placed sound dispersion to maximize effectiveness. - Not made in China. The seller is based in Arizona, which may be a plus for some buyers. - Generous return policy. The seller offers a 1-year return window, which is a big plus compared to competitors that only offer 1 month. Cons: - Build quality: It feels flimsy, while this isn’t enough to lower my rating, I do wish the unit were more solidly constructed. - Power cord is only 6 feet, it would be better if it were longer, but this isn’t a major issue. Notes: - Before deciding to purchase, I emailed the seller twice to ask questions, and they were responsive and helpful. - I rarely used Mode 3 because it emits a sound that may be noticeable to some people, especially children. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Cleanrth PCS101 Squirrel Repeller has significantly helped with my squirrel issue. It requires time and consistency, but it delivers results. If you're dealing with unwanted critters, this product is worth considering!

Isn't Working for Me, But Seller Is Great to Deal With
Well I have given this device a chance for many months now, but perhaps the squirrels I have are immune to the sounds. I have now trapped 18 squirrels in the area of this device, 11 since getting the device. Tonight I saw 3 more squirrels running in the yard. I do have to admit that the folks that sell this device do go out of their way to run an honest business and will try their best to help. But I felt I must mention that this device just isn't working for me. It is the second one I've had as the first was damaged by rain as it was not water proof - obviously a problem in trying to deal with squirrels outdoors. But the sellers did send another one in addition to refunding my money. I have tried to shelter the second one more, but perhaps has an impact on its effectiveness. Again they were great to work with. Too bad however that I don't have a solution to the squirrels other than to continue to trap and transport several miles away to parks.

WORKED LIKE A CHARM!
So we were surprised to learn the mice in our attic weren’t actually mice and were a pack of flying squirrels. We were woken up at 4am one morning last month to discover three squirrels has clawed and chewed a hole through the sheet rock and planned on moving into our living room. I was able to get two of them out the door but the third thought he would establish residency under our fire place insert. Initially I used a mechanical rat trap attached to a board and glue like trap to kill him and his 7 friends still in the attic. Once this device arrived I placed it in the attic with my execution device and waited (which I was monitoring with a live camera) although the first setting wasn’t audible to me it seemed to annoy the squirrels. They were still present, but did not go near the peanut butter laced trap. After a few days I moved the device to level 2 and waited for results. From that point until now the squirrels have left and I have not had to raise the audio level beyond level 2. This little device and my “kill” device have saved me thousands in eradication and repair costs. Not to mention and a lot of frustration. Great product and worked awesome for me here in Maine. I’m not sure what flying squirrels from the rest of the country are like but these critters did not like this device. Attached is a pic of the device installed in my attic. The have a heart trap was a waste of $$.

The reviews look great, so I'm very optimistic that this device will ...
I have not seen any squirrels yet, but I'm sure they have their eyes on my vegetables and fruits. They are getting ripe and just ready for these bandits to take. Last year I had my pears, apples and vegetables eaten or stolen from my backyard garden. I'm ready this season and I'm crossing my fingers. The reviews look great, so I'm very optimistic that this device will work. These squirrels can always steal from my other neighbors' garden. LOL As of today, July 26th 2016 I have seen only one squirrel in one of my pear trees. I think my air pump was a bit too noisy, because I was making a 5 gallon batch of aerated compost fertilizer tea for my plants on that day and the extra noise may have interfered with my Cleanrth PCS101 device. I saw a smaller squirrel hiding behind my neighbor's rain gutter down-spot sleeping. Apparently there was enough metal from this down-spot in front of this squirrel to block the sonic frequencies from annoying it. I found so far only two half eaten small pears on top of my fence. Last year, before having this device, I lost a lot of fruits from my trees. My overall evaluation so far, is that this device has helped but don't expect it to be 100% effective. There are variables such as ambient noise, how aggressive the squirrels are. Example, they might be still bold enough to "grab and snatch" and eat elsewhere. The fence area that I found the half eaten pears is away from this device blocked by the corner of my house. I have relocated my air pump to the garage so that it won't drown out the sonic frequencies made by this device. It does appear that I don't have to worry about numerous squirrels coming and going at their free will, having a picnic or buffet in my garden any longer.
