GREAT FOR HEXIES!
When you have lens wipes in a purse they do tend to get banged up, so these are a nice idea. They would also be good for hand wipes, some brands of TP wipes, alcohol wipes, small first aid kids, small sewing kits, etc.The dark blue box has the Zeiss logo on top and a web address on the bottom, it's not my favorite box. The other boxes don't have the logo or the web address, just some sort of product ID that isn't very noticeable. I like those more. I might do something with the box with a logo - like put a sticker on it or spray paint it.They snap together nicely, there is a small indent in the lid that helps hold the box closed. The lid doesn't flop backwards when the tin is open, it stands up. Mine opened a little less than the box in the display picture. I experimented with the blue box. The metal piece that makes up the "hinge" can be bent so the lid can open more, I easily bent it back so that the box lid could rest on the table when the box was open. There is just a hint of resistance now when I close that box, and on the back you can see where the metal was slightly bent. No big deal. Now, my favorite part - these are GREAT for 1" hexies. I didn't get them with that intention and I was absolutely delighted when I realized they could be used for that. I realized it as I was writing the review, haha. I RAN into the other room to grab my hexies to see if they fit. When I take them somewhere, I usually use a mini caboodle that's about the size of a pencil box. It takes up half my purse. It's too big but I couldn't find anything better. One tin comfortably holds two sets of hexies (twelve total) or one set and a needle minder and thread cutter. I am so excited about this, haha. I have been looking for the perfect box to carry hexies around."Hexies" are 1" hexagons used for english paper piecing (EPP), a type of quilting. A little craft project. You cut out fabric hexagons and attach them to paper card hexagons (with either thread or washable glue) then hand sew the edges of the hexagons together using a thin needle called a milliner. Eventually you take out the paper cards and reuse them. For the grandmother's garden quilt, you sew six hexagons together in a circle (five on the outside, one in the middle) often using a yellow hexagon for the center so they resemble a flower. You make a LOT of flowers (possibly hundreds) and then you sew those together to make a "garden". It's something to do during your kids' sports practice or over a lunch break, or in the evening while watching a show before bed.

Affordable tin storage containers
These are good quality tin boxes. They didn't have any paint smells when checking them, maybe they were already aired out. It's easy enough to pop them open, plus they have a nice satisfying snap when closed shut. The "top" sides both bump out ever so slightly to better store things in, or just spin them in appreciation for the little things. It's also rounded throughout, and smooth edges all to the inside. The only semi sharp part is the spine insert that lesser tin boxes don't have. These were intended for those lens wipe cleaner products, but I'm using them for the ease of storing other small things. Works well to use inside glove compartments so its contents don't bounce around everywhere. The paint hasn't chipped off yet, survived a Montessori session with a baby and looks like it's been aged a bit. Dents will easily show up inside due to how reflective the inside is, but not a big deal, got them to store not shine.I would have paid full price for this 4 tin set if they had a little more inspirational design pattern, these would be a good buy on sale.

Exactly as described
Great little tins that work exactly as expected. I like that they are square but with rounded corners, so nothing is sharp or pointy. They click closed, so cannot open by accident; however, they are easy to open. Whatever you put in will stay in until opened. These could be used for a variety of things, from eyeglass wipes to bandaid to a mini sewing kit. Any little knick knack you want to keep in your pocketbook without it getting lost to pocketbook ether. Decent deal, comes with 4 tins.Only complaint - the designs are really cute and colorful...except for the one that is just blue and says 'ZEISS'. I don't quite understand that one. I mean, I know its the brand, but I don't understand why they didnt turn it into a design, or just write it very small in the corner of each one.

Cute tins for organizing small objects
These metal tins are handy for organizing small items in your purse. I like to use one as a mini medical kit with bandages and a small tube of antibiotic ointment, and I use another for hair ties, ChapStick, a small nail clipper, and a tick remover. My daughter likes to use one to organize the treasures she finds outside like rocks, beads, and other small objects.I like the colorful abstract patterns on three of the tins. However, I don’t really like that one of the tins is branded in large letters. I’ll probably just put a sticker over the logo. The one problem I have with these tins is that they’re difficult to open. It would’ve been nice if they had a small indentation to help you pry them open more easily. It would also be helpful to have a clearer indicator of which side is up and which side is down since you don’t want to accidentally open it upside down and dump everything out.Overall, these are cute, affordable tins in a good size. They seem durable and work well for my purposes.
