I got this because I know how important it is to be able to get out of a car in the event of an accident and with everything that's been going on lately, it seems like that's a good thing to have. I've been watching some videos on the easiest way to break out of the glass. And having a tool like this seems like a no-brainer. Especially once you add in the added functionality of having the seat belt cutter, it looks like these can slice right through seat belts with no problem. Once I got these I held them in my hand. They feel really solid aluminum. They are very bright and so they should be easy to find and see even when you're in an accident and potentially in a different position than what you would expect. They have mounting brackets. I don't anticipate using those because I would rather just keep these in my center console. I got one for my car and one for my truck. At the price. They seem like a very good value. They're very lightweight and should do exactly what you need. The way that you break the window is you press it up against the window, pushing it and then a spring releases launching tip into the window which would cause it to break. It seems user friendly and easy to do. I haven't tested this because I'm not about to break out my window just for an Amazon review. But if I do end up needing to use it, you can rest assured that I'll come back and give an update on how it went.

The media could not be loaded. I had the old traditional hammer-style breaker but it was bulky and wanted something small for my WRX. I saw that this had bright red color with glow in the dark green stripe for better visibility and was surprised to see that there's a thick sample glass you can actually test it on.It works like a ratchet center punch where you push it down until it clicks. That force makes the punch make a dent even on a piece of aluminum which, of course, shatters any glass. I made a video and was quite surprised. I did it outside so it didn't go all over the floor inside the house.This mechanism seem faster than trying to swing a hammer to break the glass in an emergency! While I haven't tried the cutter, I did try to cut pieces of paper and seems to cut it butter smooth so I'm sure it'll be no issue if the belt ever needs to be cut.

Seems ok. Don’t try the glass breaker. I have two kids and broken glass around is not a good idea. The strap cutter cut a piece of cord fine.

I have not used these but they have sharp point. The case if good, but they are small and if the car lands upside down... hard to find unless they are attached to something.

I have (thankfully) not had to use this gadget so I cannot speak to how well it works. What I can say is that I feel better knowing that I have something that I could use should anything ever happen. This product does not take up much space and is a great price for a potentially life saving tool.

Hopefully, I never have to use this tool.

Got this as a gift for my neighbor whom lost their set. They were truly happy. Said this set is much more durable. Very high quality. Easy to use. Very functional
