This is a great radio system great range using for my Traxxas disruptor boat can't beat the price highly recommend for any rc application. Works great

We purchased this for my son to replace a tactic radio in his Arrma Granite. The controller is solid and has a lot of customization options. For my son, he doesn’t need a lot, mainly we just run wild and bash our RCs. The main selling point for this radio to us was the gyro and the positive reviews. Turning on the gyro was easy (know that the color orange is what you want) and it definitely helps keep the truck running straight. The feel of the controller is on-par with the radios in this price range. The modification options are above normal for a radio under 100 dollars. It’s closer to a 200 plus radio for options. The range has been great so far. We didn’t setup the antenna outside of the electronics box and it works just fine still. Most impressed with that. The only negative is the instruction set. A lot of the options are not explained in the instructions and there was an error describing the gyro setup. Fortunately there are videos out there to help and the options match up to other radios so you can use their instructions/explanations to help (i used a Futaba manual). For the price this is an excellent radio and receiver, especially with the gyro. I expect we will appreciate this radio more over time as we use it more and get used to the adjustments!

I feel if you use common sense and bind it prior to stuffing it into a sealed container and do all your tests prior it is pretty nice. It has a ton of features and the main one for me was to "on-the-fly" lower the D/R for Throttle, this allows the 6 years old to drive it with ease, simply lower the throttle from 100% to 25-35%. But what I experience is that after running it for a period of time the truck just stops and studders (like it lost connection/changed freq). I also feel like it could be a (thermostat) motor heat cut off (although a simple "motor" touch test doesn't support this notion), let it sit for a min and it runs again. Maybe support can help identify the issue. I also bought another receiver for model #2 the controller controls BOTH, I have not found a way to separate them as of yet, that means if you and a friend both have this radio, you would get interference (unless each was on its own frequency). I set up "MODEL" on the controller and gave them each a name yet it controls both at once. That leads me to this issue whereby it seems no matter what setting you change for a given "MODEL" name, it changes ALL settings on the control and has no regard for what "MODEL" your configuring. I would recommend this controller though, overall it works great for "basic needs". Read the manual and try the more advanced settings and you may be wondering what the heck.
