I bought the Premo Guard Poultry Spray to help with scaly leg mites on my chickens, and it worked wonderfully. After just a few applications, I could see a big improvement in their legs, and the irritation started clearing up fast. The spray is easy to apply and has a mild, pleasant scent compared to other treatments. I also like that it’s natural and non-toxic, so it’s safe to use around my flock and coop. The bottle sprays evenly, and the 32 oz size goes a long way. If you keep chickens and need something effective for mites or general pest prevention, this spray is a must-have. It’s gentle, safe, and truly works.

My chickens were clearly miserable from pests in the coop, and I was looking for something that would work without hurting them. This spray did exactly that. It effectively eradicated the parasites, and I noticed a big difference in my flock very quickly. My chickens are much happier now, and once the parasites were gone, egg production noticeably increased. I’m very pleased with how well this worked and feel confident using it as part of my coop care routine.

I had a rooster take a beating from a fox attack that wiped out most of my flock. My roo was neglecting himself while we nursed him back to health. He ended up with a pretty bad case of chicken lice. I treating him with diatomaceous earth for weeks and wasn’t gaining any ground. I really didn’t want to use an insecticide if I could avoid it. Premo Guard Poultry Spray was my last hope. It has NOT DISAPPOINTED! I spray him daily and watch the lice die on contact! I can tell he’s feeling better. Very thankful for this stuff!

My previous flock had aged out, and I needed a new flock. Instead of purchasing chicks this time around, I purchased some 1-year-old hens from the local chicken hatchery. They refresh their flocks every year for maximum production the following spring. I have started calling them my "rescue" chickens, because industrial living conditions were not kind to them. Among other things, they came complete with their own mite infestation. I think due to the stress of moving and general health, they have been more susceptible than my previous flocks. I have had mites once before, but a good dusting with diatomaceous earth was plenty to solve it the last time. Not so with these chickens. So I decided to try this product. We are on day 2 of coop spraying and I just finished my first round of bird spraying tonight. A day after the first day of spraying the coop, there were obviously less mites in places where they had been congregating, and I noticed particularly today that large clusters of mites where the hens roosted the night before literally stopped moving and seemed to die as I sprayed them. I am hoping this gets things under reasonable control, and have also added a large amount of DE to their dust bath for good measure. I have not observed the long-term effectiveness yet, but 4 stars for its ability to seemingly actually kill the mites on contact.

I have a chicken with an injured leg and unfortunately mites are opportunistic and spread rapidly on her. I gave her a bath where hundreds fell off and drown, however what really did the trick was THIS SPRAY! In my photo - yes those are ALL mites. I sprayed her before bed and where she layed to sleep she dropped allll of these dead mites. There are plenty more all around this area. I am disgusted but so thankful that this product worked for my girl. It also smells good and didn’t irritate my skin when handling. Will be buying more to have on hand!
