GREAT PV DISCONNECT SWITCH . RECOMMENDED .
The media could not be loaded. VERY DURABLE BUILT AND HEAVY DUTY TO DISCONNECT AND CONNECT THE PV MODULES SAFELY FROM THE SOLAR SYSTEM WITH SAFETY IN MIND , HAD TO MODIFY THE CLAMP IN CONNECTIONS TO FIT MANY DIFFERENT MC4 CONNECTOR BRANDS THAT SOME CLAMP TOOL WOULD'T FIT BUT WORKS LIKE A CHARM . RECOMMENDED PV SAFETY FIRST IS A MUST .

Doesnt work.
Bought this in prep for my install. Item didnt work at all. Unfortunately by that time it was past the return date. The box is sealed so you cant even open it to fix it without destroying the box.

A very necessary item; isolation switch
I bought four of these to control 16 x 100 watt panels (2S x 8P) on my 12 volt RV Solar Power roof mount system. I like the Aims products that I already have and I liked the design of these PV array isolator/zone quick disconnect switches.I made an aluminum cage for mine but that's not necessary in most normal applications.
