Great display but image brightness is not consistent
Pro: I have purchased a number of these displays for a product we are designing. They are easy to drive from a Raspberry Pi and we run them from 3.3volts without any issues. The Python library is also easy to use and adapt.Con: Screen brightness seems to be very variable between units. Some displays are very bright and some dim. I have had to send one back because it was much much dimmer than the other the same supplier had sent me. Also, if you drive these displays at full pixel brightness, the pixels degrade quickly. The image is permanently "burned" into the display. I recommend reducing the brightness of the image so it is just visible/useful to increase the lifespan of the display. This is a common problem with basic OLED displays, not just this one.Summary: Useful little display, easy to use but expect a short service life if left switched on with the same image for long periods.
