I’ve been using the Roborock Q5 Max+ for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of the best purchases I’ve made for my home. We’ve had this for about 3 weeks and LOVE it. We have a long hairs cattle dog, and a variety of flooring types like hardwood, rug, and thick carpet. This has helped tremendously with keeping the floors clean. It gets up over different levels of floors and untangles itself well. We have it running 5 days a week and it’s only gotten tangled once. It gets every crack and crevice (even under couches & beds). Also love the self emptying feature. It’s a little loud but not bad! Super easy to map your house too! Would recommend if you’ve got a pet that sheds a lot!

Wish I knew about this brand years ago, only reason I don't take me years old roomba back to Costco is I would feel bad after it being so long.Roomba is toast unless they get their act together, this thing is 1000x smarter.No more slamming into walls, or spinning in circles confused, only to do lousy cleaning job, this thing actually will slow down and barely touch objects or walls, it makes the Roomba look blind.Cleans very well too, only issue we have had is the bin will not empty well if you go to long between runs as it just gets to packed with dog hair, but run it frequently and it's worka flawless.

Only difficulties I have experienced is in ordering the correct parts for this model. I wanted to switch from the original bristle brush to the pet/hairbrush and wound up ordering the wrong ones. It is not obvious what the model number is. It does a really good job. It doesn’t just sweep the dirt like the cheaper vacuums do; it actually vacuums. It’s very easy to maintain. I can go a few days without looking at it at all. You have to be VERY careful not to leave anything in its path because it will eat anything. I have been using a seam ripper to get the hair out of the ends of the brush and it works quite well. Every now and then I give the sensors a little, wipe with a paper towel to make sure they are clean of dust and debris. So far I really like it.

Not the quietest vacuum, but does a great job at cleaning. Does well with multiple surface types. Quick and easy to setup. Maps well and is easy to operate. Multiple suction types which accounts for some of the noise. Max suction obvious loudest, but really cleans the floor.

Hardware works beautifully. The connecting software (iPhone app) is garbage. Not straightforward, not well documented, amateurish "beautiful" interface, networking with WiFi outrageously bad. For connectivity problems look up solutions on internet. Support is quick and attentive, I must admit. Suction and twin brushes work very well."LiDAR" is a marvelous feature. Maps your apartment or house floor precise, smart and efficient. Exact mapping allows for interesting regular work solutions, like quick pass over most used rooms or areas. which is excellent. Self-emptying is efficient, quick, well engineered.

This thing is great! This review is after a week of use as I wanted to see if it would consistently clean my home without weird navigation issues cropping up after a couple uses. I normally run my robot vacuums twice a day so they see plenty of use. It replaced a Roomba S9 that was plagued with navigation issues that I limped along for 2 years. The app is way beyond what I expected with features and real time monitoring of where it’s cleaning. Has the ability to boost suction power going over my area rugs which is important as I have 3 dogs that shed quite a bit. It mapped my home at an amazing pace and cleaned far better then the S9 even when it was brand new. It doesn’t bang into furniture and baseboards like the old S9 so that’s a major plus! The app even allows the home base to empty for a longer period so no more issues with the bin getting clogged with hair or dirt. You get a lot of bang for the buck with the Q5 max for sure. I’m really happy I took the gamble on this one as it’s been amazing compared to the way higher priced Roomba models. For those trying to decide what the best sweeper is for the money, look no further!
