Best log book currently available
While these log books are a tad expensive, I have been using them for many years while we complete a circumnavigation in our yacht. If you date it on the left rather than using the top section, then they are more economic. The other addition I make is to measure wind speed in knots not force. Apart from that they have all I require in a log book.

A "real" logbook
I've been using this logbook for over 7 years and am on my 4th. It is a "real" logbook with places for all of the proper entries vs. the other ones found in marine stores with provisions for frilly entries (e.g., how much beer was on board). Being hard-bound it survives the seasonal punishment and when filled, it is nice enough to display in your bookcase with your other family treasures.

Originating from the days of celestial navigation, but adaptable for modern day cruising
To be clear, this is a log for recording information on long voyages verses recording day sailing activity. This is a beautiful book, and I do love it, but it's worth noting that the format is what Sir Robin Knox-Johnston used in the time before GPS. Because of the era it's from, the log is set up for a noon position and dead reckoning in between so there isn't a column for hourly pos, but rather a "Log" column for distance through the water and "Dist" for distance through the water for that interval. There's a facing page where you can make free form notes and one solution is to write the GPS readings there, but in a modern era, when you can easily obtain hour lat/long you should record it, it's a lot more valuable than distance through the water information. I thought about just repurposing the "Log" column for position, but it's too narrow to write coordinates in minutes legibly on a moving boat, even with my tiny handwriting. I would have preferred this as a solution so that the right page could be more of a hourly what happened kind of log.The book has a built in piece of ribbon to use as a book mark and has a really nice feel to it. It's a pretty book. There's a place in the back for a daily index which I think is a nice touch, I do the same with my personal journals. I plan to index as a way of looking back over my journey. Each book is set up to cover 60 days, which is a nice little cruise, but if you're setting off on a long sail you'll want to stock up.

The quality is good, however
The quality is good, however, I returned it because the detail of information requested is too much. I do not keep track of every course change on paper, because it is stored on my GPS enabled navigation software. I bought the book to demonstrate my past sailing voyages as a crew member and captain for charter companies to see my experience. I will replace this with the Yacht Log.

This is a very nice logbook.
This is a very nice logbook..I like having the space to write about anything special that happened that day instead of just logging engine hours and times. There is room to add your killer whale sighting or eagle fly by....I think the memories from sailing are just as important as the engine times!

The Real Thing.
The real thing in logbooks - what more can I say? After 9 years and 35,000 NM, we're on our third logbook - these logbooks stand the test of time.

Great product.
Great product with a lot of history. Information for boats interesting as it uses British Buford scale for weather which I find very helpful
