I am not sure how to give them anything less than 5 stars. The USB did not work for me (very unique situation). The instructions are easy to follow and it’s a simple process. Upon contact with tech support (responded within hours and maintained open dialog via email), they followed up with sending me the actual form that I may need. I have not received it just yet but when I do, whether it works or doesn’t, they made this a positive experience. They have done everything and more to aid me in my quest to get back in. ***UPDATE*** received the disk version and it 100% works! Extremely simple, effective, and quick. Took 4 minutes to reset my password. Amazing customer service and an amazing product!

Right at the moment, I'm happier than King Kong on a banana boat! It worked like a charm! Elapsed time :less than one minute. The laptop I'm jailbreaking is a Lenovo Thinkpad P1 Workstation. The problem is, when I first got it, I set the password offline. I didn't use it for a couple months so when I fired it up, the password didn't work. Drat! Because I set the password offline, and not online with Microsoft, I was stuck. If you lose your password, Microsoft will send a code to your cellphone and allow you to boot up and reset your machine. Anyway, this Ezalink USB key was great! Here's how you do it. Turn on your computer, plug the USB drive into a slot, and turn your computer off. Make sure it's off! Then turn it back on while tapping the appropriate F-key. Lenovo is F12. A small screen pops up. From there, it's pretty much self-explanatory. Use the arrow keys and/or mouse to navigate to your options. In my case, it showed my name and email address. Click on that and make a new password .Woo-hoo! Done, done, and done! I didn't have to contact support but they got Five Stars anyway...

Does NOT work on an encrypted computer hard drive. I have a PC, with MS windows 10 i believe. My hard drive is encrypted. And then I have a local user account which is also password protected. I have my encryption password, but I lost my Local user account password. We were told exalink would work with an encrypted PC, but it does not. Unless someone knows a trick that we dont? We think the problem is when you go to boot this ezalink USB drive you do it as you power up the computer, therefore you have not gotten past the point where you enter your encryption password, so once you boot and open the ezalink program, I can not see any user accounts to select and change your password, because the encryption prevents that.. If there was a way to boot up the ezalink USB after I turn on my PC and after I enter my encryption password, then it might work, but I dont think that is possible, because I have to boot the USB drive as I turn on my PC and before I enter my encryption password

WOW! This product Totally 100% Worked! I could Not get past the Password on a Laptop someone gave me, I said What the Hey, What do I have to Lose. So I purchased this Product. I followed the instructions that came with the USB Drive and It worked like a Charm! It brought up all the User Accounts & it let Me Reset the Admin Password to Blank, Restarted the Laptop and BOOM! I am 91; I know how to spell computer but that is close to my limit of tech knowledge. My laptop decided to not accept my log in password. Should I call "the guy" or try to DIY. I bought the EZALINK drive. Instructions were limited, but the internet provided me with the correct keys to punch. Following screen directions I typed in a new password, saved, exited and rebooted. New password worked!

was not able to get the laptop to recognize the flash drive so was not able to use it.the instructions weren't very much help as the Windows Vista password I was trying to reset did not have the functions mentioned in the instructions. Maybe laptop was too old to reset.

I ordered this to help my dad get back into his laptop computer. Plugged it in USB and followed the easy to understand steps & was able to create a new Login Password for him. Way cheaper than a Tech support call ! Hope this helps!

Documentation good but the downloaded detailed link critical - solved the password access bypass within 30 minutes

It did get my computer up and running again but at a loss of over 2TB of data. Really it does nothing you can get online for free from Hiren's or better still MediCat.
