Multi-color COB addressable LEDs are the next level in utility. With the built-in diffuser, the colors are smoothed out. And the use of 24v means thinner wires and fewer power injection points for longer runs. There's really nothing *not* to like about this strip, except that you might not have a 24v power supply laying about. There's lots of those handy on Amazon, even from BTF. Great product, will buy more for other projects.

I got this LED Strip to hopefully use for an indoor lighting project I’ve been planning. It does take a bit of setup since there’s no adapter or controller included, but once you have it all connected, the lights are amazing. The color chasing effect is smooth and vibrant, and the high-density LEDs give a really uniform glow with no weird gaps. The strip itself is flexible and easy to work with, which is great for creative projects. Overall, a fantastic light strip for custom setups and so fun to work with!

The lights are very bright, with appropriate controller they can be used in multitude of ways. Very slim and easy to conceal. Only downside was a faulty strip I ordered first time but the seller replaced them quickly.

These are another great product from BTF. I have a lot of there other light strips and these are top quality as well. The COB with the silicone diffuser makes the light distribution very ever and great for highlighting areas. You will have to provide your own power and controller, but if you are this far into projects where you are buying bare LEDs strips, you probably already know this.

COB LED lighting is certainly the way to go. Very bright & seem to be well made. We'll see how well these will hold up. The colors and IC functionality of this LED strip are excellent, but I ran into a major issue when trying to extend it. Any extension longer than about 6 inches— even those from the manufacturer—causes interference, making the lights blink and malfunction. I suspect the problem is due to resistance introduced between segments, affecting the IC signal. I’ve tested different types of extension cables with the same result. Interestingly, I don’t have this issue with non-IC LED strips. If you plan to use extensions, be aware of this limitation. I am unsaying my review to 1 star because after one month of use, the strip started flickering and is no longer useable! It’s been a waste of money.

Several years ago, I decided to LED "highlight" items in every room in my home. The effect has been life changing, as I now have so much LED ambient lighting thought my house, I can't remember the last time I turned on a regular light... While I've been pleased with my prior LED lighting choice (installed in 2015), the light "blocks" that appear from the older/traditional LEDs just aren't nearly as appealing as the newer COB LED lighting (that all but eliminates the old "block" look.) Not only that, the older lighting I installed several years ago, was all based on 12V controllers, which is a problem for longer LED runs as the light tends to "drop" (or fade) the longer the length of the project. This issue is all but eliminated with a 24V controller, like the one I used here. As I continue to convert the older 12V LED lighting to this 24V COB LED lighting, things just look better!! It also operates slightly cooler than the older 12V set up... I really enjoy looking down at the floor now and seeing a continuous beam of light, without all the little "blocking" LED lights of the older generation of lights. This BTF lighting is beautiful at night!! The app allows me to select true white, or white made from colors... along with timers, schedules, and other nice features. Previously I had used another fairly well-known name brand, but this is the first time I've used BTF, and I'm impressed... They also seem to have just about every type of connector I would ever need for just about any LED lighting project I could come up with... that's nice! That offers flexibility that's important in any DIY project...Overall, I'm very impressed with these BTF COB LED lights! I will be purchasing additional sets in my quest to continue replacing all the older "block" LEDs in my home, with these newer COB style... They look -really- good !!! I would highly recommend these COB LED lights to family and friends.
