I recommend using it with an outdoor antenna if possible but it is reliable and gives me over 200MB/sec speed.

The 5G/hub part of the device works really well, and it has many settings (many more options than the predecessor 4G LTE Nighthawk). It's fortunate that this is by far the most important part of the device, because I don't really give it a passing grade on a lot of the other aspects of it. Compared to the old 4G version, which had an amazing build quality, this one feels downright cheap. And the price is anything but - it's astronomically expensive, as much as a flagship 5G phone from a major manufacturer, like Samsung. The screen is downright awful (much worse than the old LTE version), though it is touch, making it workable to configure directly on the device. However, it feels like a cheap first-generation smartphone from twenty years ago. Currently, in Canada, I'm not sure that there is any mmWave; TELUS is only on Sub-6. However, performance is still very snappy. When mmWave becomes available, at least in theory, this device will support them. As I said initially, at the end of the day, all the other ergonomics and usability issues are (distantly) secondary. I just wish the $1,300+ gizmo felt worthy of the price tag.
