Great sourdough starter mixing tool expecially in my taller jars.. My hand doesn't get tired using it anda it's easy to clean. It looks like a nice piece of wood art (to me). I so happy to have it in my sourdough baking kit.

Great spurtle-just wish it was a tad thicker

Whomever invented the spurtle was pretty smart! So if you’re reading this - thanks! I didn’t know I needed one until I used it, now I need 5 more! I cook every day, lots of canning, rendering tallow, all sorts of baking, etc, and this is the first thing I grab! This particular one was not chipped or cracked, has been heaviky used and run thru the dishwasher, looks great in my collection of wooden tools, isn’t unnecessarily long, and I will be buying more! Fantastic value!

I recently started baking sourdough bread and this was the first thing I used in mixing my starter! Loved how it fit in the jar and clean up was easy!
