I bought a while back and dont recall for certain but I don;t think the individual packets said anything about halloween. As for the outter bag ???

This is a different package of chocolate. The one you bought is sold by Better Shopping for $28.99 for 150 pieces 0.32 ounces. This one is 150 pieces for $59.99 for 85.23 ounces sold by other sellers but still shipped by Amazon. Almost has to be different size candy bars for the weight difference. Packaging is different too. Makes no sense to me either.

The expiration date on the package is 07/17 which was about 6 months from the date I received it. A few (~10%) of the packs had a "dusty" coating on the M&M's which indicates they are a bit old but for the most part, they were fresh
