These pads protect my underwear just enough. Each individual wrapped shield remains protected until unwrapped. The unwrapping exposes the sticky bands. I've encountered only two minor issues. At times the wide end is folded tightly in the package causing a crease that won't relax. So, it's difficult to get the shield to lay flat. The adhesive at times sticks tight enough to your underwear to cause the adhesive to pull loose from the shield when removing. This has only happened a few times. Pulling it slowly when removing helps.

I wear jockey shorts and the shields insert easily and stay in place. They are thin and I can't even tell they are there. They take up occasional little leaks completely. So far nothing has escaped beyond or out of a shield. A great product.
