User manual needs an update
The clamp itself is steady when using and very adjustable. decent quality and the only downside is the plastic caps at the end of the metal rail are kinda loose fit and easily come off. but you can wrap some rubber bans to it. For those who are using a X52 hotas like me, the x52 got only 2 holes for the long bolts. You might need a zip ties to make it firm. I'm soft on the stick so it's usable without zip ties. 4 stars because the user manual need an update. Or you have to figure out some parts yourself. I think it's not a big deal for people like to DIY things but it's kinda annoying.

Took a bit of assembling, but nothing too difficult, just time consuming. My 15 year son - impatient to fly using the new HOTAS asked me why they send them pre-assembled - guess the answer is simply about cost. Why assemble it and increase cost when the buyer can do it? Was pleased with how sturdy these mounts are - i was a little sceptical before they were fitted. But they stay rock solid even with a teenager using all his strength to try and eek an extra degree of movement out of the flight stick... Recommended if you have just a little patience with the assembly process.

The design is good, reasonably sturdy and adaptable. However, the person who wrote the assembly instructions is clearly not a well man, his pathological hatred for all things flight sim related is obvious, obviously writing these instructions became a passion project in how to punish all who might dare to attempt to simulate flight, his masterstroke was printing the instructions so small that a microscope would be helpful to attempt to decipher them. I can only hope that the author of these instructions gets the psychological help they so clearly require.
