Good fog machine for the price.
This machine makes a lot of fog for it's size. But, quality control from the 1Byone company is not the best. After I received the fog machine, I added the fog juice to the tiny tank, plugged in the remote, plugged in the machine to an outlet and waited. In a few minutes the red light came on indicating it was ready. I turned it on and wow! was it loud. Sounded like one of those small car tire pumps. It was putting out little puffs of smoke but nothing that I would call fog. I turned it off, waited a few minutes, turned it back on and same thing, lots of noise and but this time no fog output.I was livid. But, I decided to check and see if the pump had a vacuum at the hose inlet in the tank. It did not. Knowing that I was going to ruin the warranty (I just didn't have the time to wait for a return shipment) by opening it up, I unplugged the fog machine from the wall, let it cool down and then took the top off. Sure enough the hose at the pump was split and the pump was just sucking air. I pulled the hose off the pump, removed the broken piece of hose from the pump nozzle, cut the hose so that it would have a straight edge, put the hose back on the nozzle and then zip tied it to the nozzle. I put it back together, plugged it back on and voila! Major fog output.Pros:- Lots of smoke.- Nice small size.- Quiet'ish (after I fixed the hose issue)Cons:- The hose is cheap and thin and I will be replacing it with something thicker and tougher.- The tank threads and cap threads are off and therefore the cap doesn't ever screw on tightly. It's always loose. If the black lid wasn't on the machine, the cap screws onto the tank nicely.- Poor quality control from the factory.

It looked crappy doing this for a graveyard scene
I got this product after reading many product reviews. It was used for an outdoor graveyard setup on Halloween night. I got the separately sold piece that controls it ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LKXYYVC?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_17 ), so I didn't have to manually set it off. I had the controller pushing the max fog (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004B470XG?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_16) it could. This machine covered our graveyard area (30 feet x 40 feet) without a problem even with a constant slight breeze. Once in a while a strong gust of wind would come by and push the fog down the street. This was hilarious because then those down wind could not see anything until the fog cloud passed (a few kids screaming). Initially I found it shot a straight stream of fog about 5-10 feet before it started to spread. It looked crappy doing this for a graveyard scene. I went to a local store and got a cheap fog machine cover (gravestone design) and the mesh material caused the fog to immediately spread out and gave the exact look I was going for. I used one lightening and thunder style strobe and three tiny basic strobes in the graveyard scene. It looked great and we got good comments all night. A full reservoir (half a bottle of fog) lasted about 3 hours.DO NOT use this inside. It is way to good for an indoor party use! I thought I would use it for a Halloween party and decided to test it in the living room when it first arrived. After about a minute I could only see 2-3 feet in front of me. It filled about a 1,000 square foot area and set off the smoke alarm. I had to open all doors and windows for 3 hours to clear it out (30min of fanning the smoke alarm to shut it off).If anyone has further questions feel free to email me at [email protected]

Great smoke output!
I have used the fog machines a few times now and it is doing a fantastic job. The machine does not take too long to heat up (about 3-5 minutes) and produces a good amount of smoke. I created my own liquid using 30% Glycerin, 70% distilled water and the smoke was amazingly thick. I needed the dense smoke because I was using the machine outside. With that being said, it was about 40 degrees fahrenheit out at the times of use and the product still worked great. There are only two reasons I gave the machine 4 stars instead of 5. First, I was using the machine in short bursts (about 5-10 seconds of smoke and then stop.) When you push the stop button it takes the machine about 30 seconds to a minute to reset itself so you can push smoke again. Second, comparing the price of this model versus other models I have seen on the market, I wish it would have come with a wireless control. For this model, the wireless control is sold separately and costs over $20. Other models I have seen in the same price range includ wireless controls. Ultimately, the product has worked better than expected. I will update my review if anything changes as I am looking to use the product a lot more in the near future.

Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this 1500 wat unit because I've been to parties where people had a 400 watt unit and was not impressed with the amount of fog. The first couple burst on this unit I did outside just to ensure everything was working properly and I was a little disappointed until I took it inside and got away from the light breeze. 3 bursts from this machine completely filled are 3200 square foot house to the point that we could not see a TV from 5 feet away, we could hear the TV but not see any light projecting from it at all until we're within six inches from it. It took us about 45 minutes with all the doors and windows open to clear the haze out of the house. I am using Bog Fog in my unit you may get different results from different types of fog mixture only thing I don't care for on this bog bog is within about 15 feet of the unit it does leave fair amount of residue on hard floors. From a little bit of research I've done here in the last few minutes different units work better with different types of mixture so you may want to contact the seller or manufacturer to find out which brand they recommend. I plan on spending the next couple hours building a fog chiller so that I can keep the fog low to the ground. With this unit I have no doubt whatsoever that I can probably get a2 to 3 foot Fog Bank on the ground that you won't even be able to see your knees or feet with just two or three bursts of fog.
