This is a really good dehumidifier and works very well in my bedroom with high ceilings and a large window that’s not well-insulated. It removes Houston moisture efficiently and is easy to drain and maintain. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because it’s not as quiet as advertised. It’s listed at 49 dB, but I measured 55 dB on low and 58 dB on medium. Still a great product overall, just a bit louder than expected.

The product is very effective at removing moisture from the air and performs well overall. It may be somewhat noisy for people who are sensitive to sound, but it’s easy to set up and simple to use.

What I like: 1 - Does a very good job of lowering the humidity in my basement, with medium and high setting. 2 - App/Wifi/remote control from anywhere. Super awesome, safe me walking downstairs or remotely from work 3 - App is super simple to use, dash shows humidity level, controls, and notifies you when tank is full, or the filter needs cleaning. No ads, for now. 4 - Relatively light, easy to move. 5 - Includes a long drain hose. What I don't like: 1 - I underestimated the Size/Sq footage, thinking 4500 sqft was sufficient, for approx. 1,000 sq ft. I was wrong. I opted for the 4500 sq ft, since this is my first humidifier not sure which size is enough. 2 - The water tank is somewhat oddly shaped, but still easy to remove and reattach.

I live near the beach and didn’t realize just how much moisture was in my home until I bought this. To find the best dehumidifier, I bought the hOmeLabs and another well known brand to compare them (I needed a few for different rooms). The hOmeLabs dehumidifier is the winner for sure. Tried them out together at the same time, and put one of each in different rooms, the hOmeLabs tank was full within a few hours, while the other brand took twice as long. I even swapped rooms to make sure it wasn't just a difference in the air, and the results were the same. The hOmeLabs unit pulled more water out of the air than the other brand. Super impressed with it incredible moisture removal. If I didn’t throw away the boxes for the “big name” brand I would return it and get another hOmeLabs :)
