I've been fishing for years, but not correctly. I used to throw 45lb test line on rod that is rated for 12lbs. I still caught fish, but I didn't realize line is rated for certain rods and reels and performance is better when utilized correctly. This was my first year tying braid to mono/fluoro and my first time even hearing about fluorocarbon. The strength is amazing but much harder to tie than mono. It is less visible in water than mono, but it is pricier. I got the 50lb a while ago of 25 yards and I'm just about ready to order more. I might have to order a larger quantity this time.

Caught some fish on it. Not sure if it's any better or worse than the other fluro brands but I picked this up for $10 which felt like a decent price.
